The Hillwood Nest is a stylish home with retro accents and colorful furnishings. You'll be a short 15 minute Uber ride away from the heart of Nashville. Explore Music Row and learn about Nashville's entertainment industry or check out one of the numerous museums in Downtown Nashville. Don't forget to dine out at the local restaurants and breweries that the city has to offer!

The living room is furnished with colorful furniture around a Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc). Right behind the sofa is a dining table for 4. The kitchen is great for cooking homemade meals and is equipped with a blender, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and more. Don't forget a hearty breakfast before exploring the town!

There is a Queen bedroom with another Smart TV and a full bathroom with a walk in shower. There is one parking spot provided.

If you are bringing a pet - the pet fee is not included in this total price. An additional $35 per night pet fee will be applied after booking is complete. A maximum of 2 pets can be brought to the unit. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. To avoid fines please make sure your pet is on a leash and you pick up after your pet.

It worked but needs improvement

The location was hard to find as it's behind a business with no clear indication. It's farther from downtown than listed by 8-10 min. The toilet is still loose and moves every time in use. There was only 1 towel per person for a 3 night stay. When we did laundry, water leaked all over the floor which was challenging to clean up without extra towels and forced us to spend $20 at the laundry mat to finish the clothes. The property mgmt took awhile to respond leaving us to handle ourselves. The space itself has what you need and is located to convenient shopping and restaurants.

Extremely Loud, Unable to Sleep

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this is not the property for you. On the weekend, there was a group of 5-6 young individuals who stayed in the unit above mine. They were extremely loud, yelling outside in the parking area and on the deck, once inside their unit they were blasting music and you can hear every footstep above you. I had to make other sleeping arrangements for Friday and Saturday night because there was no way to sleep with this much noise until 4 in the morning. I reached out to the management company and I was told someone would be getting back to me to resolve the issue. I didn't hear back for a week so I reached back out and was told the same thing. Nobody ever contacted me to make this issue right. I don't feel that they accurately explained just how loud it would be when another group is staying above you. I would recommend finding another property so you can actually sleep on your trip.

Great for 2 people

This was a great little modern place. Safe neighborhood, close to everything. As with all previous reviews, toilet needs to be bolted down and bathroom sink drained slow. Other than that ot was great.

Be warned. The property had a bad sewage smell and the property address was not the property booked

I have never had to leave a bad review before, but here it goes. First, be warned that if you book this property, you might be put in a different property (like we were). None of the pictures here matched the property we were put in, although it was probably the same complex. The apartment we were put in had a very bad sewage odor coming from the bathroom. We immediately reported this as soon as we got in and were told by Grand Welcome that local maintenance would address it. By the next day at 11:00, it had not been addressed and I could not handle the smell, so we checked out two days early and called Grand Welcome again. I was told again that someone would reach out to me that day, but they never did. I also noticed that the photos of this property were not the same as the property we were in. There was no table and chairs, the kitchen was not the same, etc. I have plenty of photos to prove this. Three days later, no one from Grand Welcome has contacted me to rectify the situation or offer a refund. When I called again yesterday, customer service said she would report my complaints to management and someone would be in touch with me. VRBO says they cannot make Grand Welcome give me a refund, although they can report the complaint. Nothing about Grand Welcome has been professional. They are not a local company in Nashville and don’t seem to care about customer service at all. No one has apologized for this mix up. Also, be warned that the location is in an alleyway next to a pile of trash and and literally in the same building as a Vet Hospital. There is a reason why this property does not have a photo of the outside entrance. The good part is that it was mostly clean .
