About this space
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Minutes to everything in town, and the Grand Ole Opry,this amazing space offers you a quiet respite after a full day downtown. Come for the dreamy sleep and stay for the amazing back patio space.
With free carport parking and your own private entrance, you will love this home away from home. Centrally located to all major roads and surrounded by lots of International food options.

The space
This stylish space is perfect for two. With Carport parking and your own private entrance, this comfy and nicely laid out space is great for a short weekend or a longer stay.

When you enter through the back of the home, the bedroom will be on your left and the livingroom/kitchenette will be on your right. The full bath with stand up shower is located in the hall between the two rooms.
The living room offers a full sized sofa, a table for two to eat or as a work space kitchenette with mini fridge, toaster, microwave and sink. There is flatware and dinette for 4 so you do not have to wash dishes to find a clean cup.
The living room also offer a large smart tv where you can log into watch Peacock,HULU,Netflix and Paramount. If you watched a pay for movie you will be billed. Thank you for understanding . In the kitchenette you will find coffee tea sugar stevia and creamers as well as a snack of popcorn and 2 cold drinks in the fridge. So relax and have a cup on the house.

The bright bedroom has a beautifully made queen bed with top of the line mattress and clean sheets, every time. With a dresser and closet, there is plenty of room to unpack and enjoy the space. There is a second, large smart tv in the bedroom so you can spend a lazy morning in bed. The bedroom closet has an iron and ironing board hangers a camp light in case of a storm two umbrellas and a standing fan. There are no surprises here what you see pictured is exactly what you get. A clean comfortable stay.

The outdoor space offers a great patio set for your lounging pleasure. This space is private to you during your stay so you can sip mimosas smoke in this area only while watching the birds.
Guest access
You will have access to the carport, backyard and the entire apartment during your stay with no shared spaces.
The front portion of the home is occupied by a quiet older lady who is very friendly but won't intrude on your space.

Great spot for a short trip

My husband and I stayed at the cottage while visiting Nashville, and it was perfect for us! It is on the smaller size, but again it was perfect for two.

A thoughtfully and tastefully designed cottage accommodation equipped for guest comfort and ease. We used it as base station for our visits and tour of Nashville. If our travels take us back, we'll try to book The Hickory Cottage.

Quick visit to Nashville

Place was perfect for what I needed. Great location near who I was visiting and super close to the Zoo which I went to as well! Comfy bed and nice backyard!

Perfect space for my husband and I

We were in town visiting my son. This space was perfect for our 3 night stay. Lovely, quiet neighborhood with good parking and a nice backyard space. Our hostess was easy to message and quick to respond. She thought of everything! We could have literally showed up with just ourselves and wouldhave had all we needed. Thank you!

Cozy Place Near Nashville Airport

I enjoyed staying here at The Hickory Cottage. Simple check in and check out process. The residence is neat and tidy and the bed is very comfortable. Sherry was helpful and considerate, she went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

Comfortable & Accurate to Website Description

The hostess was very friendly and welcoming, and we were very comfortable during our stay. The home was a little far away from the things we did around town, but we knew that would be the case. The price was a good value and it was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood.

This cozy and comfortable place was exactly what we needed after a hot summer day out and about. The temperature was cool and the online pictures are exactly how it looks. The owner kept in touch and was very helpful.

Great Stay at Sherry's!

we loved our 4 nights at sherry's. the location was great for us to walk to the bus, and having our own parking spot allowed us to venture of via car as well. we enjoyed the nice fall weather in the back yard, and the apartment was perfect for our needs. the neighborhood is really quiet and safe. would recommend to everyone. thanks sherry!

Cozy cottage

This was the perfect place for our stay in Nashville. We were only 10 minutes away from the action on Broadway. The neighborhood was nice and I enjoyed walking every morning. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the dresser and closet so we could unpack and lot live out of suitcases. We would highly recommend this property.

The bed was comfortable the place was nice, you do not control the air conditioning , and it was 95° that day so it was too hot for us, we didn't hear from the lady that lives in the front of the house we heard the dog a few times, but besides for that it was a nice daythough and it was 95 the day we were there

The Three C's....

This hidden gem is Clean, Comfy and Convenient! What a great find for my 5-day stay in Nashville. While it is small, it is perfect for 1-2 people. It has all the comforts of home with sweet, quirky decor (my personal fave) and a lovely backyard space to enjoy. The host was communicative and helpful while providing thoughtful personal touches to the space. Nashville happenings are only a short drive away, yet the home itself is in a quiet older neighborhood. A great spot to work or chill between adventures. Highly recommend!

Quiet and easy going

Very sweet spot that we stayed at. The property that you are in is a part of an actual home. We stayed on the back side of the property with our own entrance. The place was welcoming and we had some coffee to keep us going while on our trip to Nashville. A notable item would be the shower head that was not adjustable. I did wind up engineering it but the base of the arm should be able to shift downward (we are short folks: 5’1” and 4’11” respectively). We had a nice time and hope to see Sherry again. Thanks for the recommendation to Merridee’s, it was delicious!
