2024 Update: Dock with power is in for the year and ready for your boat!
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakefront cabin. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Hayward Wisconsin, this home was recently updated and is ready for you to enjoy! Known for their fishing, Lost Land and Teal Lake are Class A Musky lakes (and great walleye, panfish and bass fishing too!). If fishing is not your thing, enjoy the unspoiled nature and scenery or one of the many nearby attractions and great restaurants.
The house has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a king, queen, (2) twin beds, and queen sleeper sofa. The open concept kitchen and living room has space for the whole family to hang out. There is a sunny formal dining room with seating for all guests. Over looking the lake, is an enclosed screen porch which is a great place for morning coffee or an evening drink. Guests will have full access to the private yard which has a firepit, dock and kayaks for use. The basement walks out to the flat backyard with easy access to the lake and dock. There are many great restaurants and local attractions that are detailed in a guide book during your stay. In the winter, you can access great ice fishing or snowmobile trails directly in front of the property on the lake. The Birkie trailhead, world class cross country ski trails and CAMBA trails are located within 30 min of the property. Lost Land Lake Lodge is located within walking distance of the property and is great place to grab some food and drinks after a day on the water or snowmobiling on the trails. Happy Hooker Bait and Convenience store is located 5 min from the property.

Lost Land and Teal Lake are quiet lakes and have a 10mph speed limit with a no jet skis or water sports allowed. This provides a peaceful and tranquil setting when on the lake. It is great for fishing, relaxing, kayaking and those that want to experience nature. A boat launch is available just down the road at the Lost Land Lake Lodge for a small fee. A public boat launch is approximately 10 min away. A dock with power is available for use at the property if you bring your own boat. (2) standard size adult life jackets will be provided for kayak use. Guests must provide life jackets for any youth members in the group. Reverse osmosis water filtration is available for guests to use (no need to haul bottled water!). Lastly, our home is great for the entire family but it is not "baby-proofed" (no baby gates, outlet covers, etc.). Please plan accordingly if bringing an infant or toddler. A pack and play is available upon request.
ATVs/UTVs can not be used on the property or adjacent roads. The Town of Spider Lake has restrictive ATV/UTV rules, and they are banned on most roads. You must trailer your ATV/UTV to approved trails to ride.
The Town of Spider Lake is very snowmobile friendly and there are many trails to ride, including one right in front of the property on Lost Land Lake.
During peak season June-August, minimum stay is 7 days. There is an additional charge of $25 per guest per night after 6 with a maximum of 8 (no exceptions). The sleeper sofa is not available for parties of 6 or less. Any party that does not follow the rules regarding number of guests will be asked to leave.
Guests will have access to full property except garage/sheds and locked mechanical/storage space.
