La maison du lac est spacieuse, semi-isolée et confortable ... 3 BR / 3 BA, 2 chambres familiales, 2 cheminées, 2 terrasses spacieuses, 2 foyers ... 2 superbes vues sur l'île! Nous avons maintenant AC aussi ... Littoral bordé d'arbres avec fond de sable et grande pêche ... sur une chaîne de 6 lacs Tiger Cat de 1300 acres ... grande faune et kayak ... escapade entre filles / golf! ... Grand refuge pour l'automne et l'hiver aussi - Sentiers de motoneige ON 14 et 19, près de Birkie XC Ski / Mt. Pistes cyclables et sentiers de VTT .... et super vélo de route aussi! ! COMMENT'S HIDEAWAY a quelque chose pour tout le monde. Idéal pour les R & R. Les aventures douces abondent. En plus de la natation, de la pêche, du canoë, du kayak, du VTT, de la route, de la randonnée, du ski de fond, de la motoneige et du golf, nous avons également accès à de superbes boutiques, restaurants, antiquaires, etc. Nous sommes sur le premier tour de la couleur à l’automne! Apportez votre bateau ou en louer un. Débarquement de bateau avec (trou de natation et balançoire) à proximité confortable! Rampe de bateau / barrage / trou de nage et balançoire = facile à marcher + facilement accessible en bateau.

La location de la cabine comprend l'utilisation de nos 2 canoës, 1 kayak et 1 pédalo - vous ne payez rien de plus ici! Ils sont parfaits pour explorer la chaîne de 6 lacs et les voies navigables communicantes (pensez 'Everglades du Wisconsin' ...) Ou portage autour du barrage pour accéder à une autre zone de vie sauvage!

LAKEHOME DÉTAILS: 2 niveau, le cèdre dégrossi. Au niveau supérieur, même avec une allée, enrouler autour du pont. niveau inférieur de plus près au lac w / large 20 'x 40' pont w / sièges et une balançoire. Altitude moyenne (c.-à-d. Superbes vues) ... Il y a 35 marches sinueuses menant au lac à partir du niveau inférieur. PENSER CE SI VOUS avez des enfants ou les personnes âgées dans votre groupe. Ce n'est généralement pas grave - mais sachez que nous ne sommes pas au même niveau que le lac.

INTÉRIEUR: 2200 pieds carrés. Décorées dans des thèmes Nord en haut. Au niveau supérieur a un grand séjour avec cheminée, un canapé enveloppant, salle à manger et cuisine tout donnant sur le lac. La chambre principale et salle de bain, chambre d'hôtes et salle de bain principale sont également au niveau «supérieur». Basse débrayage de niveau a une grande / TV / salle de jeux de la famille + chambre avec lits queen superposés, une buanderie et une salle de bains spacieuse. Il y a un canapé-lit dans la salle de jeux de niveau inférieur.

LAC / ZONE: Lac maison se trouve sur 2 acres de terrain boisé sur 200 acres Tiger Cat Lake ... qui fait partie de 1300 acres Tiger Cat chaîne de 6 Lacs. Bordée d'arbres de façade avec un foyer fond de sable de la zone de baignade et lacustre. Grand lac de pêche! Endroit idéal pour les aventures actives ou pour se détendre et se détendre. Court sur place des sentiers à travers les bois. Nous sommes proches des sentiers de Birkie (des kilomètres de sentiers enherbés et damés à travers des collines vallonnées). Cerceau de basket dans une allée, des fers à cheval, du baby-foot et des jeux de société à gogo. Plus de 300 vidéos et DVD (enfant / classique / famille / action / romance). Too much good stuff to say . Fam loved everything and every detail on point. We did fish a lot off the dock...beautiful... like fishing in an aquarium so clear. Lots of sunnies, few bass, a HUGE musky/pike that broke off dockside. Sighted a few large musky/pike lurking around too. Huge splash follow up musky attack on my 9yr olds sunfisb! Caught one monster but it broke off docksideCanoes/kayaks also got GREAT use. We did the channels to Lake Placid(2 lakes away). "Wisconsin Everglades" def some of the best paddling weve done and we've done quite a bit in BWCA. Everglades is fitting name especially in the morning fog. Lakes were calm, glasslike, crystal clear The "cabin" itself and property perfection for us. From the views, to the fire pits, to the night stars. Everything us city folk want in lake getaway. Inside was super nice, and clean, but comfortable and usable. Ty again for your attention to detail and offering this great place for others to.enjoy. We will definitely look to come back. We even mentioned how beautiful it'd be in fall/ winter.

We had an amazing 4 days at Hipp’s Hideaway. Very comfortable for 6 of us. So many amenities and details to make the stay fun and easy. The lake is clean and gorgeous, we loved using the canoes/kayaks to explore. Very few bugs even! We were able to relax and enjoy each others company. Perfect family vacation. My only regret is that we didn’t rent it for a full week.

The property is just as described! The house was great, roomy and had everything we needed and more. We even played some family feud and other card games on our rainy day. It slept our group of 8 perfectly. It’s tucked away and very peaceful. The view from the house deck was beautiful, you could see the lake and the docks below. The docks and seating area down by the lake was also very nice and roomy. All of us could fish, swim and enjoy the lake. The canoes and Lilly pad were a hit with the kids. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Easy to work with! Overall we had a great family vacation!!

Hipp’s Hideaway is a what a small slice of heaven looks like. My family and I had an amazing time there. There was amazing fishing, right off the dock, tons of water toys, very little lake traffic. It felt like we had the lakes to ourselves. The cabin itself had such a warm ambience it felt like home. They have tons of board games and movies for those family fun nights! All the kitchen utilities you could want for great family dinners! Just an all around great place!

This was our second stay at Hipp's Hideaway, and as before, this home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. Shawn has thought of everything! The bed was super comfortable, and the common areas very spacious. Our grandkids really enjoyed the kayaks and swim pad. The owners were very responsive when contacted, too, which was much appreciated.

Great spot with gorgeous backyard!

We had 8 people on our trip, our kids ranged from 6-19, and everyone had a great time. Enjoyed the downstairs hang out for the older kids. Really loved the balcony and the fire pit area - we spent a lot of time there. Great fishing! Oh, and the king size bed in the master was so comfortable - I rarely sleep well away from home, but had no problem here we were just bummed the paddle boat wasn't there for us to use!

Family Time!

We had an amazing time at our stay with our adult children and their spouses. The three bedrooms and 3 baths gave everyone space. But provides ample spaces for playing cards, around the firepit, reading, fishing, or just relaxing! Lots to do for everyone nearby and kept everyone entertained with lots of together time.Our hosts were amazing and offered so many recommendations around the area and checked it to ensure our experience was great! Thank you for fantastic memories!

Amazing Stay!

Hipp’s Hideaway was everything we could ever want in a vacation home. Spacious and clean bedrooms, the COMFIEST pillows, great views of the lake, and your own private dock for a boat. The only recommendation I have would be a TV in the main bedroom, but that’s just my preference. :)This was our 12th trip to Hayward and it wasn’t even over before we were planning our next one!

Nice, Woodsy Getaway

Great location, great home, great host. The cabin was cozy, had all the basics that we needed and a wonderful view of the water.We were ATVing while we stayed at this home. Trails were relatively close by and the driveway had plenty of room to load and unload the rigs. Even caught a couple fish off the dock. We enjoyed our visit.

Great getaway

We came up for the Fishing Has No Boundaries event and truly enjoyed our stay. The hideaway was a bit hard for us to find when we first got there due to the storm that night and gps on my phone was being difficult. The only thing I couldnt find that was in the property description was the hot tub. But that was ok as the weather was not cooperative lol.

Winter serenity

Our group enjoyed the peace and serenity with no one else around. Watching the deer as they made their way through in the evening. The fire place was our zen zone in the evening. It was the perfect environment for our meditations, conversation and time together.

Weekend Relaxation Before Heading Back to School.

Over the Labor Day weekend, my family and I had an incredible and rejuvenating retreat at Hipp’s Hideaway. It was the perfect back-to-school getaway that turned out to be the highlight of our entire summer. True to its name, the cabin exuded a serene lake house ambiance, and the neighborhood was wonderfully tranquil and welcoming, with the delightful sound of chirping birds filling the air. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock, and the upstairs patio offered an exquisite view of the lake, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and unwinding. The cleanliness and spaciousness of each room in the house exceeded our expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised by the wide array of supplies provided with the rental. In addition, the host was incredibly communicative and amiable throughout our stay, which truly enhanced our experience. Our overall impression was beyond what we had hoped for, and we are truly grateful to the Hipp’s family for hosting us and providing such a memorable experience for my family and me.

Perfect 40th Birthday!

From start to finish, the communication with Shawn was excellent. The place was perfect to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family and some friends. It's isolated, the lake is quiet, perfect setup for adult time on the deck at night, and a huge bonus was the Northern Lights and meteor shower. A quick drive to Hayward provides access to some nice restaurants and a nice Main Street, and we really enjoyed a quick 9 holes over at Big Fish Golf Course. Any time someone has asked how the trip went, there is only one word needed: AWESOME!

Great family "staycation" house

This house offers everything you need to have a fun-filled week on the lake. Whether your kids are young or grown up, like mine, there is something for everyone. Boating, swimming, fishing, lounging on the lily pad, hiking, strolling, exploring. Inside, there's tons of games, movies, puzzles, foosball, large seating areas to just hang out together. The town of Hayward offers lots more with great shopping, dining, and activities. If you're looking for fast-paced adventures, this is not it. But if you're looking to relax, enjoy nature and each other, this is the perfect getaway!

Beautiful area and the cabin has a very nice layout We did notice that the kitchen light was missing a bulb or two. We tried to change them but the anchor screws on the light globe were tight There was a nice spot for a bonfire; however there was no split wood available. All in all, a lovely area and cabin. My husband and I bought Hipp's Hideaway for rental purposes in 2001. We had been in the rental business for 18 years in St. Paul, MN, and thought we'd try something more 'fun'. We were able to get in on the building process add many of the finishing touches ourselves. As we were seasoned vacaton renters, we were able to keep the needs of renters in mind. Our goal was ... and is.. to make you feel like it is YOUR place during your stay......

We selected Hayward as a great rental area, then looked at 31 properties. We were always drawn back to Tiger Cat Cove. Yes, it was strong in all the basic 'investment oriented' things... large wooded lot, good frontage, good sized lakehome, but also had an amazing serenity piece that the others didn't. Our guestbook at the cabin can attest to this as well... come check us out!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We were determined to invest in an area that would welcome us AND our guests, and Hayward fit the bill. There are tons of things to do right at the cabin, nearby, or in town. Great dining options abound. The superior water clarity into the fall, the sand bottom frontage, and the varied woods surrounding the property kept drawing us back. PLUS, as I emphasized above -- it had that special feel ~~~ that serenity piece. Grab a local wine, sit on the dock and listen to the loon calls.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Well paved backroads for walks and biking. Fun chain of lakes to explore +++ great fishing. Cabin comes with 2 canoes, a single AND a double kayak and a paddleboat. Rent a SUP or a pontoon or bring your own boat. U shaped dock great for tying up your boat.

Free evening concerts featuring the loons, accompanied by the bull frogs. Crickets will chime in as well. Occasional taps are played at sunset by a local vet who lives on the lake.
Suggested finale is to finish off your concert experience watching the dance & crackle of a lakeside campfire and take in the visual array of the evening stars and moon against the pitch black sky... Bring your flashlight it gets pitch black dark if there isn't a full moon ! Upper firepit has been added for those lazy nights...
