Convenient location in Linden Bay on Round Lake. Great dock for landing two fishing boats. Dogs loved to swim. Excellent communication from host throughout.
So happy we were able to use your property. Very well maintained, found everything we needed. Reminded me of family trips we took up north as a child. Would definitely stay again.
This was a beautiful property in a perfect location for our 3rd family trip to the north woods. Everything we could have needed was readily accessible to make our stay feel just like home! We look forward to returning!
Our family had a such a wonderful stay at this cabin! The kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock! Beautiful sunrise coffee time views! Such good memories made overall!
This is our 4th year staying at this home on Memorial Day Weekend. It is absolutely GREAT. Pete is very great to communicate with and lots of amenities are provided. Thanks so much for sharing this home with us!!!
We had a great stay. The cabin fit our family just fine. You couldnât swim right off the dock, but the sandbar was a very short kayak or boat ride away. We had great fishing; my son caught a Musky right off the dock!
Clean, well-equipped, very comfortable location for our multi-generation family group. Water was clear even in late August, great for kayaking all around the northern part of Round Lake. Adults and kids all had fun fishing off the dock, the little island in the bay, and our kayaks.
We had a great time staying at this cabin on Round Lake! We could access round lake with snowmobiles from the property and is located right by trail 9. We were also able to utilize the heated garage. Great spot for people wanting to snowmobile and a great cabin!!
Beautiful setting on the lake. We stayed between Christmas and New Year's and enjoyed the snow and ice fishing - we had one pretty good day of perch fishing within a couple hundred yards of the house. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The check in and out and communication with the owner was easy.
Nice woodsy location. Spacious driveway and garage. Bedroom layouts not ideal for mixed guests. Waterfront boat lift needs tune up, Too shallow for bigger boat. Trail to water unsafe for seniors. Nice swimming and adventure island for kids.
We've stayed at Pete's house over New Year's weekend, as well as other winter weekends, for our snowmobiling trips to the Hayward area. The house has all of the accommodations a group of riders needs - plenty of room for everyone - the porch, the garage, the entry way, the driveway for trucks & trailers. Pete is the BEST, too - extremely responsive and helpful!
This is our 3rd year staying here and we truly enjoy it. The lake is BEAUTIFUL!! The house is welcoming and comfortable. The neighbors are very friendly and don't mind out dogs. We have a great time here. There are 5 of us who stay, along with 2 dogs. We cook, kayak, fish, go for walks, have a campfire and visit the sites in town. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!! Thanks for letting us stay!!!
I have vacationed here in the Hayward area since before my Dad had the house built. We had the foundation, basement and house framing built, and finished the inside ourselves. Our family of 5 vacationed here every summer, and some winters!! My Dad, a WWII veteran, still lives in Hayward. I live in the Dallas area, and am a retired SGT, TXARNG. Graduated from Capital University in Columbus OH, and travel back to visit my Dad regularly.
This house was my Mom and Dad's and is kept in the family. It is a fabulous vacation spot for families with youngsters, teenagers, on up. I learned to waterski here and have caught countless blue gill, walleye, and bass all around the lake. In fact, there is a bay on the other end of the lake called Blue Island Bay. Its name comes from the Chicago suburban area that I grew up in, although it was named a long time before we ever came here. I love dogs as they are part of my family, so bring your pooch along if you are a concientious owner.
