Great Unit, Even Greater Location
This year we took a chance on a place with no reviews and are so glad we did. Why? Partly because the unit is terrific. Large, really modern, good kitchen, top floor, windows everywhere. Two terraces with water views, one off the master bedroom and a huge one off the living room with a dining area. The great unit was icing on the cake. The experience was made exceptional by location, location, location.
Sidney’s beautiful pedestrian walk starts about a block from the door and winds past the marina, restaurants, and a couple of piers. We sometimes walked it twice a day and never tired of the sights. Sidney’s main street, Beacon, is only three blocks away. You can have a full vacation experience without driving. The garage comes in handy on Thursdays, when the Sidney Street Market happens and on Sundays when there are free concerts at the lovely bandshell on the water.
The property manager, Checked In Victoria, responded quickly and completely to every question. The owner brought us new pots and pans because we thought the old ones were not great. Couldn’t ask for better service.
Bottom line: we liked it enough to extend our stay and plan to return for longer next summer.
