The Space:
This peaceful zen property has 3 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. Oversized windows and skylights allow natural light to showcase the lush greenery from every room. This rustic villa features vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, a deck overlooking breathtaking redwood forest, BBQ grill and a tropical landscape surrounding the pool. Located in the Santa Cruz mountains, the last quarter mile of the drive contains a one lane, private road that does require a confident driver. This is the ideal property for those looking to immerse themselves in nature and all that California forest has to offer.

The exterior of this home, including the pool area, is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.

This home is pet friendly for 1 dog (30 lbs or less) for a $25/night fee. This fee will be added after the booking is confirmed and the initial booking is paid for -- Let us know if you want to bring your Dog! We are not able to host any other types of pets at this home.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house except the garage that is reserved for storage. The Airstream trailer is also not for guest use. Also please note that there is no heater available for the pool and there is no hot tub.

The Neighborhood:
This home is nestled in a very private, quiet location. Please be mindful of noise, especially while using the pool, as the property is located in a tight-knit community and noise travels. Most of the drive is on the highway, but the last mile or so of the drive is on a private, windy, bumpy, one way road. Please ensure this is something you’re comfortable with.

Getting Around:
This home is approximately 25-30 minutes outside of Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and Los Gatos.

- Regale Winery & Vineyard (8 minute drive)
- Nestldown (event space) (13 minute drive)
- Downtown Los Gatos (20 minute drive)
- Capitola Village (25 minutes)
- The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park (20-30 minute drive)
- Santa Cruz Beach & Boardwalk (30 minute drive)

Other Things to Note:
- The last quarter mile of the drive contains a one lane, private road that does require a confident driver. We do also require all guests to sign a liability waiver for driving on the private road and for the pool before check in.
- While this house is pet-friendly, please be mindful that wild animals are expected in the woods, so any pets should not be left unattended outside during the day OR night.
- There can be minimal cell phone reception on the way to the house. Make sure that you have your map loaded before you make the drive.
- Please be mindful that there is no gate around the pool and the pool is NOT heated.
- The pool is serviced weekly but due to the environment it can collect debris daily.
- There is NOT a hot tub on this property.

We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.
