Enjoy your coffee on the private back patio while watching a family of deer graze in the wooded field behind the house. This newly remodeled quiet house in the trees is still so close to town, you can walk to the shops and restaurants (or a 60 second drive). With smart TVs in every room, you can cuddle up and watch a movie after a long day at the beach, or hiking in the redwoods, both just minutes away. The views of the surrounding hills and trees are amazing from the covered patio or front deck
Large open space with lots of trees. No visible neighbors. Rooms are spacious but not huge. Kitchen is large with all the amenities.
This is an entire 3 bedroom house. All areas are accessible.
I will only contact you if necessary, but I am always available by text or call for help if needed.
Weâre not really in a neighborhood. There are several other houses on our street, but none are visible from our place. Small dogs allowed ($75 pet fee)
Our son and daughter in law were recently married in the area. We used the house as a base of operations for the event. It was a perfect location and very comfortable to come back and relax at night. I would highly recommend.
Me and my family stayed at the Airbnb for 2 nights and it was extremely nice. The house was super clean and nice and very secluded. The host let us check in early which was really nice. The communication was good for the most part but we did have some questions and got late responses to them but other than that it was a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend for a get away.
The house was spacious and comfortable for 6 adults. Check in was easy and the host was responsive and easy to contact. The location was great, close to stores yet it feels remote.
The perfect spot for us. Our Daughter was getting married in the area and this location worked great. The outside back area was the perfect morning hang for us and a peaceful respite from all the work of the wedding. The kitchen was a perfect spot to cook and hang. The beds were comfortable and the owner (Jerry) made everything easy.
This home fit our needs and was a great place to come back to after a long day of running around. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Jerry is a great host and was super responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend staying here, Scotts Valley is a beautiful community.
What a nice place to getaway from it all. House sits on an oak studded property that is completely isolated from other houses. The furnishing are well appointed and it is close to all Santa Cruz Mountain towns and beaches. Make sure you visit the closest restaurant for their perfect breakfast or lunch! The host was gracious and accommodating. We really had a great time!
Exactly as described, even better than the photos. This is a beautiful house that is kept in excellent condition. Had a lovely, quiet stay while also being less than 5 mins from grocery stores and other local activities. Communication was impeccable with the host.
House is clean, and comfortable, and well apppointed with amenities. We appreciated the smooth check-in process and enjoyed the scenery of the neighborhood. The traffic off the main road is busy, and the driveway is a bit steeper than we had anticipated. Overall it's a great property.
Stayed for one afternoon and night with some friends for a barbecue and good times. Inside and the backyard/patio were super open and great for cooking and hanging out!
We really enjoyed our stay- location was great(we visited Santa Cruz, Monterrey and Felton), the home was very clean and we loved the outdoor spaces. This was a great rental for our family.
We had an amazing stay. The rooms were actually bigger than expected and accommodated our party of 6 comfortably. The entire place was very clean and we were impressed with all of the kitchen amenities provided. We only stayed one night but wish we couldâve stayed longer to enjoy the house more. I would definitely return!
From outside this home appears to have a small footprint. But once we walked through the door, it was surprising how large and open the rooms were. There were large windows in the main space adding lots of natural light and opportunities to watch chipmunks play and lizards scurry on the rocks. Everything in every room was spotless clean. The covered patio area actually had two tables with chairs making outdoor dining possible. The inside of the house was furnished like what you see in the photographs. What you don't see is how fabulously comfortable the couch is or the amazing night's sleep you will have because the beds feel so incredible. I was almost giddy when I opened the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen! They are meticulously organized. Needless to say, any hardware you need for meal prep is provided. The master shower was pretty incredible. There are however, a few negatives. There is not a single lamp in the home. There is a funky smell at the master door and laundry room area. It seemed to be worse when the HVAC would run and then when the compressor would cut off, the smell would fade. Lastly, and the most alarming, all of the rooms have the fire code mandated smoke detector installed except for the master bedroom. Above the door is the bracket that the alarm goes on, but there's no alarm device. The master bedroom window is at the highest side of the house, so the window is two stories up and there's concrete below. Jumping out would be a death sentence.
I was in charge of booking a small home in Scott's Valley for a non-profit board that I serve on and lucked out with Jerry's property. The home was easy to get to, looked exactly like the listing, was extremely clean. Jerry was a welcoming host and graciously allowed us an early check in and late check out. The indoor/outdoor spaces were very appreciated by my little group. I would recommend this home!
