Convenient location

Good place for family of 4 with both teen daughters having their own room and bathroom. Easy walk to train to get into Washington DC. Area coffee shops and restaurants were surprisingly good. Only negatives was delayed/minimal communication with managing company. The main bathroom downstairs doesn’t have a shower and one bedroom on 2nd floor has no windows.

Inaccurate Listing Pictures

The townhouse needs to be cleaned, painted and maintained. The pictures in the listing do not accurately depict the condition of the townhouse. The furniture is falling apart, one of the beds is worn out (big depression in the middle), all the dinning chairs are stained, several of the blinds are broken, the vertical blind is missing several slats and it is in needs to be painted. When we checked in there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dried food in the sink and the stove was covered in grease. There were no cleaning supplies other than a roll of paper towels, a sponge and one dishwasher soap tablet. The listing also is not clear on the parking. All parking adjacent to the townhouse is permitted so you have to use the paid parking under the building which is reasonable, but it would be nice to know up front. On the bright side, the location is great with several stores, restaurants and a metro station nearby.

Excellent location with numerous accommodations that's a little rough around the edges

Location and space are excellent. The surrounding neighborhood is clean, quiet, and safe. Walking distance to many eateries and metro rail station. Short drive to D.C. and less than 10 mins to DCA airport. The inside of the apartment itself is rather basic. There is little in the way of decor, and has a bit of a clinical, almost medical facility like feel. The 1st floor bedroom is a converted living room with no closet, and the attached half bath does not have a tub or shower. Further, there are no bathing facilities on the ground floor at all. The airconditioning was barely passable and may have trouble keeping cool in the warmer months. Beds and furnishings aren't in the best shape. Kitchen is stocked with utensils. There is no free parking despite being listed in ad. Property management is relatively quick to respond. It took around two weeks to receive a refund on my damage deposit, and only after sending a message indicating that it was still outstanding. Overall, I think the apartment will be sufficient for most people's needs, and I would recommend it. While it is a bit rough around the edges, it does provide three sleeping areas for a reasonable price. Pros: Location, size, noise level, nice neighborhood, W/D included Cons: Dated, no free parking, no bathing facilities on ground floor, complicated booking process, vague check in instructions, clinical appearance and feel, suspicious damage deposit refund process
