The Athens River Cabin aesthetic embodies the feeling of safety, privacy, and peace of mind.

Guests have access to the entire 5 acres, the house in its entirety, river access, and the two kayaks, we have two paddle boards and can bring them over if requested. Private and secluded in the woods.

There is an herb and blueberry garden where you can access fresh herbs and berries (when in season) right out the front door.

You can sleep soundly at night on eco-friendly bamboo sheets made by Cozy Earth.

Just 8 miles from Sanford Stadium this riverfront cabin with dozens of features for adventure seekers, foodies, and those seeking peace and quiet. The riverfront house is 3 miles from the NormalTown area of Athens, GA and you can find hip restaurants, bars, and convenient access to all of Athens and the Loop.

Nearby Bishop Park offers guests close proximity to ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, walking trails, and a playground and pool area. Saturday mornings the indoor tennis pavilion is converted to host the Athens Farmer’s Market with food trucks, fresh, locally grown vegetables, flowers, and hand-crafted goods.

Close to The Bottleworks, Downtown, 5 Points, and Normaltown, ideally located and quickly becoming the “go-to” choice for couples, young professionals, and empty nesters alike.

**The house is under total renovation from top to bottom, so the pictures for right now are mock-ups. The floors will be light hardwood, the walls Sherwin Williams Snowbound, and the bedroom furniture light pine with no knots (clean and smooth). There will be an accent wall painted in the color waterscape Sherwin Williams.


To the left of the dining table, you will walk into the kitchen which has open shelving up top and cabinets below for storage. The sink overlooks the fire pit and gathering area on the side of the house. Handmade black walnut bowls will sit atop the ambrosia maple shelves along with hammered copper Moscow mules glasses. We will also provide paper plates and bowls.

The kitchen will be equipped with a fridge, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, baking pans, Pyrex, and Corning-ware dishes. There will be a crockpot and all silverware and cooking utensils (ie: spatulas, and mixing spoons).

There is an oven and stovetop with four burners as well as a microwave and a dishwasher. There is a stackable washer/dryer unit in the unit as well.
