DISGUSTING-did not stay here
I am usually the last person to leave a negative review but I was waiting for the chance to review this property!
I’ll just hit the high points-toenail clippings on the floor of the bedroom, 2/3 bathrooms had ZERO toilet paper, no clean towels, one bed didn’t have sheets, several flies around the house, dirty kitchen towel hanging from the dishwasher, funny smell downstairs, dust hanging off the ceiling fan, wifi didn’t work, dirty towels and sheets still wet in the washer…neighborhood was rough but that was the least of our concerns. The cleanliness of the property was way more frightening than the neighborhood. I was honestly worried we would end up sick or with bed bugs.
Unfortunately we didn’t find out about the sheets and towels, toilet paper issue and toenails until midnight our first night there when it was too late to find another place to stay. We slept on towels and blankets we had in our cars (luckily) and made the best of it for one night. We left the next morning and actually paid to rent a hotel room for the rest of our stay.
The host and VRBO are well aware of all of the issues (WITH PICTURES). We have asked for a refund and there has been no response from the host. Vrbo states these are “minor issues”—definitely not minor in my opinion.
Disgusting and so disappointed.
