Our whole experience from start to finish with this stay was amazing. Checking in was a breeze, the house was absolutely spotless and had everything you could need, and the location is hard to beat! If youâre looking to stay close to Marietta Square, this is the rental for you!
I love the layout of the house, I stayed for a weekend, but I never stop working so the office was perfect. The television was Apple friendly and the property was well kept and inviting. The natural light through the trees and windows were relaxing.
The house is very cute and clean and the area is very quite and safe. I did have to unplug the room fresheners because I am allergic to scents so that would be the only thing to ask renters before they arrive.
We had a great time! The center of Marietta is very animated and about 1.5 miles from the house. We discovered some fun little stores and several very delicious restaurants. Located in a quiet neighborhood and well equipped, the house itself had everything we needed. I want to thank our host for his warm welcome. We come regularly to see our daughter and would really enjoy staying here again.
Perfect for Southern Exposure Volleyball Tournament
We stayed at this property while our daughter played volleyball at the Cobb Galleria. It was in a perfect location. Only a 13 minute drive, lots of restaraunts nearby. House was clean and comfortable for us! Nice, quiet neighborhood.
This was a great place. Exactly like the pictures. Cleanliness definitely 5 star. It was perfect for us and close to our family. Our only negative was the queen bed was much harder than accustomed to and would suggest a different type mattress or a pillow top insert. We would definitely stay here again for any future visits to Marietta
So clean. All modern appliances. Pleasantly decorated. Lots of parking. Safe quiet neighborhood. Roomy. Full kitchen.
Only thing was too many fragrance plug-ins for sizer of house so we had to find them and set them outside as they caused stuffy nose and headaches but aired out fine. Had a problem getting lock open on arrival but my. All was answered immediately and problem fixed less than 10 minutes. Would definitely stay there again.
The house itself was clean, cute, and a short drive to the Square. Although, there were a few things that left us feeling like with a few simple changes the house would have been much more comfortable.
* There was no sufficient table. All of the tables were small side tables, no where to sit with kids and actually eat.
* There was an office with a monitor but no PC. I found this an odd choice.
* The beds were not horrible, but I would hesitate to call them comfortable.
Overall, it had the feeling of a property that no one actually would live at, at least in it's current state. If the owners of the property were to actually try in live in this house for a few days, I'm sure they would notice and resolve many of the details that made the stay less "homey" than one would hope for on vacation.
The overall experience was good for the price.
We were dismayed at first to see that the house was both very small, and on a mixed-use street with plenty of dark alleys for shady characters to lurk. It reminded me of where I lived in college; affordable, cute-- but don't want to jog after dark. No sidewalks, dirt lots.
After five days we had no problems, though we definitely locked the deadbolt before bed and heard plenty of sirens roaring through the streets nearby overnight.
On the bright side, the owners have done a lovely job of decorating the interior and making a good use of space. The decor is trendy, but also comfortable and homey, and the showers and beds comfortable. But the tiny size doesn't allow for either a dresser or a kitchen table. One of the bedrooms had only a small closet to store all your clothes offering literally no place to store your non-hangable items like pajamas and socks. The children got used to eating dinner with a plate balanced on their knees in front of the tv; not something we do too often but I guess it worked fine for the week.
This stay is ideal for YUP's, couples without children, or a sorority get-away. Who will not be comfortable here: big and tall men who need lots of space and big beds; families with school-aged children, the elderly (steep cement porch steps, "speed bump" door jamb leading into bathroom made us trip several times; creaky wood floors).
For us it worked fine, and we are thankful for the stay!
We were in town for the big WWBA Baseball tournament and were so pleased with this property. It was centrally located to the highways, shopping and restaurants and had everything we needed to make our stay in Atlanta an enjoyable one. It was well appointed, clean, convenient and comfortable. We loved downtown Marietta, the walk ability of the neighborhood and the little touches like games, laundry and an office so that we could keep up with work while away. The owners were friendly, attentive and answered all our questions quickly. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Atlanta for baseball.
