This classic Florida waterfront home with easy, open water access is perfect for your next getaway. The beautiful pool complete with a waterfall is perfect for cooling off after a fun day of adventures. Everyone can have plenty of space for dining inside and outside on the back deck. Why not cook outside on the private gas grill? There is a private dock as well for boating activities.

What's nearby:
This home is within six miles of many local shops and restaurants and several local attractions, like the Dolphin Research Center, Florida Keys Aquarium, and Seven Mile Bridge. The Curry Hammock State Park is located five miles away and offers protected waters that can be easily explored by kayak or paddleboard. Sombrero Beach, a popular snorkeling spot, is just four-and-a-half miles away.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Clean and Comfortable

The house was clean and comfortable for 4 adults. The pool was great (although chilly) as we chose not to pay the significant daily cost to have it heated. We loved the view of the Gulf and had some great sunsets. On the downside, the internet and streaming to the Roku TV (no live programming) was abysmal. There were frequent internet outages and long buffering breaks which made watching movies almost possible. I did mention the issue to the property manager in a text message but did not receive a reply. The listing says that the house sleeps 6, which is technically true with a pullout trundle bed, however there's only room for four at the kitchen table. The property manager did respond quickly and satisfactorily when notified that there were only 3 pool towels and that there was a drainage problem in one of the shower drains. Renters should be aware that the property is very close to the Marathon airport. The noise from planes coming and going (during daytime hours) did not bother us, but it might be unpleasant for some. In summary we enjoyed the property enough to rate it 4 stars. Reliable internet and better evening movie streaming would have brought it up to 5 stars, for 4 adults.

Family vacation

Our kids loved the pool and spent most of the time swimming when on property. The roof leaks between the front door and window and you can see the water damage on the front wall. This resulted in a musty smell during our entire stay. It was much worse when we arrived as it had rained the day before and luckily was dry the rest of the week. This along with the rusty bathtub highly influenced our perception of the property and rating.

Just as advertised

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect for us. Location is close to everything but yet out of the way from main road. The views are beautiful. The only recommendation, would be pool floats available for guests and option to heat without cost. The cameras the others mentioned was obvious they were for the boat area but still a little uneasy as they face the pool area. We would rent again.

This is a very nice place to stay, the furniture is comfortable, there are plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware and cooking utensils. The beds are comfortable, there are good sheets on the beds, and the pillows are nice and help to get a great night's sleep. I would definitely recommend this place for older quite people. The place needs a few items to make it great, The grill is garbage, the grill grates are rusted and missing. Looks like someone took the rack from the microwave and put it on the grill so they could cook. I bought a lot of meat to cook but couldn't, so it was a big waste of money for me. All of the pots and pans are dirty, most of the dishes were dirty, most of the glasses were dirty. I cleaned what I needed to use, There are minimal cleaning supplies in the house, so it's difficult to clean anything unless you go to the store and buy cleaning materials. There are a few items to get you started, but everything is the cheapest, lowest quality products available. There are signs on the refrigerator telling you to be quiet because the people across the canal live there full time and we shouldn't disturb them, but they are the ones that make all of the noise. The have loud conversations and their voices carry all over the neighborhood. And they should probably go to the doctors for their constant loud coughing. The water pressure is good to the house, but the showerhead is terrible and should be replaced because no water comes out of it. There is more but I am
