Villa Trara - Amazing sea view in elegant setting

Our beautiful and elegant 3 bedroom house offers the most comfortable accommodation in the heart of Positano overlooking the beautiful bay of Fornillo. It offers a peaceful environment but it also conveniently positioned near all amenities.

The apartment is part of an old villa and it is on two levels.

The three bedrooms have different features:

The lower floor has a master bedroom with two panoramic windows, an ensuite bathroom with antique tiles, extralarge bath/shower, and a walk-in closet.

Also on the lower floor there is a bedroom without window (it has air conditioning and a porthole looking on the internal staircase), with a double Murphy bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower.

The third bedroom is on the upper floor. It is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, and a panoramic window with a small balcony.

The upper floor has exclusive access to the terrace with outdoor furniture, majolica benches with cushions, a large dining table with chairs under a wisteria covered gazebo and a low table where you can enjoy an aperitif at the sunset. Also on the upper floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, freezer, tableware and kitchenware), a living room with sofas and armchairs, and a dining area with fireplace.

The house provides air conditioning throughout (cooling and heating), Wi-Fi, bed linen and bath towels.



The villa is located a few steps down the main road and in its vicinity there are restaurants, newsagent, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser, barber shop and a bus stop for the shuttle bus. The beaches are within walking distance, either from the main road or down the famous antique steps known as “la scalinatella” that leads down to the beach main harbour in just a few minutes.

Please note that an additional cleaning fee of €180 per week. Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 30 per day A cash refundable deposit of EUR 500 is required upon arrival, the money will be returned at time of departure after the absence of any damage is verified.

In high season, it is not recommended to bring a car. For trips to nearby villages, it is easier and more convenient to get a taxi or use public transports. There is a shuttle bus that goes in circle around Positano. There are also buses to go to nearby villages such as Praiano, Amalfi or Sorrento that can also be reached by boat from the main harbour. The airport is at about 1 hour 30 min distance by car from Naples. In summer, there is a choice of getting to Positano from Naples by hydrofoil stopping by Sorrento but this service needs to be confirmed every season. We recommend taking a taxi directly to Positano as it's more comfortable and also economically more convenient. There is no free parking in Positano. We offer private parking in a private garage at an extra cost of €20/day. Let us know if you're interested. Otherwise, there are many garages nearby the villa where to leave your car if you wish to do so.
