Outdated and over-rated

To start the listing has false information in it. The toiletries only include shampoo/conditioner and soap. There's many more items that should be stocked to use that general term. Also there were no beach chairs nor any beach items as mentioned in the listing. The unit reaked of pot and is very old and outdated, leaking AC in bathroom, and questionable electrical outlets. The memory foam mattress was so hard my body hurt from sleeping on it. The linens on the bed were dirty and the ceiling fan had months of dust and build-up on the blades. There was food, dirty dishes and trash under the main bed in the bedroom. The lock on the sliding glass door was broken. The dishes in the cabinets had water in them either from cleaning crew or last guests. Either way I was extremely disappointed knowing I paid almost $500 for 3 nights and $100 of it for cleaning the unit is ridiculous if this is the quality that they deem acceptable. I reached out to the owner she did get 1 cheap folding camping chair set aside at the main office but we still had to pay out more money to get both of us chairs and an umbrella at the beach. The towels were the cheapest one could buy, luckily there was enough but only 1 set of beach towels and no way to wash them. The only pros were internet/cable and proximity to the beach with a private entry, and can't even even say "free parking" because you have to pay $15 to get access to gate cards to even get inside the facility. So that's false info as well. I asked the owner for some sort of reimbursement for the lack of cleanliness and for having to pay out of pocket for items that were supposed to be provided when renting the unit, she failed to reply to that request! Definitely would not stay here again nor recommend anyone I know use evolve for rentals.
