The Space:
Welcome to our stunning retreat!
The upper level boasts two bedrooms, both with king beds and panoramic lake views. Enjoy well-appointed amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge with a Smart TV for endless entertainment, a sofa bed for additional guests, a modern bathroom featuring a shower and a bath, and a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer for your convenience.
Outside, relax in the spa or dine al fresco in the garden area. You are welcome to use the BBQ, but please note that it is offered ‘as is’ and ensure it is cleaned before your departure as it is not part of our cleaners' schedule.
Please be mindful that spa usage is restricted to before 9 pm to respect the tranquility of our neighbors. While we strive to ensure its availability, occasional maintenance may affect access.
Parking is a breeze with our secured double garage, and additional room for up to 4 cars in the driveway.
Just a leisurely 5-minute walk away, you'll find convenience at your fingertips with a local corner store, a well-stocked bottle shop, and a delicious fish and chips shop.
A stroll down the hill will take you to the tranquil shores of Lake Taupō, and the 'Two Mile Bay Sailing Club', where you can unwind with a refreshing drink or indulge in a mouthwatering pizza while soaking in breathtaking lake views.
For those seeking adventure, embark on a scenic journey along the renowned Great Lake Pathway, offering picturesque views of the expansive lakefront. Just a short drive away, you'll find relaxation and rejuvenation at 'Taupō DeBretts Spa Resort', or immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the town center, brimming with local shops, cafes, and attractions.

While the downstairs area will be locked during your stay, you'll have exclusive access to the upper level and the double garage.

The Neighborhood:
This house is a quick walk to a dairy, a ‘fish & chip’ shop and a liquor store. If you continue to the bottom of the hill, you will find the popular ‘Two Mile Bay Sailing Club’ where you can enjoy a drink or one of their fabulous woodfire pizzas.
From there you can continue on the Great Lake Pathway to walk into town with coffee and ice cream stalls along the way.

This listing advertises a ‘base’ cleaning fee, which accommodates 1-2 guests. Additional linen and resources are required for larger bookings, so an additional $10 per guest will apply for any bookings of more than 2 guests. We will charge the extra fee separately closer to your check-in date.

When booking, please advise how many beds you require, and we will prepare that quantity for you. A highchair and baby cot may be available on request. Please enquire before booking (bedding for the cot is not provided).
Breakfast items are not provided but there is plenty of tea, coffee, and basic cooking necessities such as salt, pepper and oil.
For the sake of our neighbours, noise must be kept indoors and to a minimum after 10pm. There are strict no parties, smoking or pets rules in all Be My Guest properties.
If you are booking this property on a platform other than Airbnb, an authorisation hold is required. This hold will be captured as a ‘preauthorisation of funds’ from your payment card, prior to arrival and will be auto released 2 days from check-out, so long as no damage or costs have been incurred. The 'hold' for this property is $350.
All Be My Guest linen comes from our professional linen supplier. It is thermally disinfected at temperatures high enough to eliminate germs and risks such as Covid-19. In order to keep linen costs for your stay economical, we do not provide face cloths.
This property has two security cameras, one overlooking the front door and the driveway and the second one at the back pointing towards the backyard. The cameras DO NOT monitor indoor spaces
Interaction with Guests:
The house has a key lock on the door. We will provide the pin number 3 days before your check-in date.
If you need anything during your stay, please contact us through the app during regular business hours. If you have an emergency after hours, please call our after-hours number (number will be send with check-in instructions). Please ring, do not text as texts are not monitored.
