This Happy Hokie Home is perfect for graduation and other family gatherings! The open floorplan and wraparound deck create ample space for visiting and enjoyment. It has been carefully decorated (maybe over-the-top) for Hokie fans of all ages. While the home is close to campus, it is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. In the morning, enjoy coffee and the sunrise from the front deck. In the evenings, enjoy grilling on the back deck; and on clear nights, enjoy stargazing.
When you arrive, Flokie (a Flamingo that wants to be a Hokie), our six-foot tall orange and maroon flamingo will greet you in the foyer. Walk into the living room and be welcomed HOME. Step up into the dining room and appreciate original artwork by Linda Harrison-Parsons, a one-time resident of Blacksburg. The kitchen is well stocked and features a huge island for food prep and gathering. The family room opens off to the side with seating, fireplace and television. One bedroom & bath are on the ground level. The entire main level is washed in light from the walls of windows.
The master with ensuite bathroom and 3 additional bedrooms with shared hall bath are upstairs.
A fort and swings for the kids are in the backyard, while adults can enjoy relaxing on the back deck.
The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood suitable for families and others who demonstrate respect for neighborly interactions.
