This house was beyond expectations. So many things to do- yard games, obstacle courses, inside games, etc. There are amazing views that you can literally lose time staring at. Wildlife that is amazing to watch from afar. Communication was easy and so many extras were provided. Love this house and the hosts - would absolutely recommend!!!

This was a great place to stay if you are visitiing your kid at Virgina Tech. Its not too far from campus. The house was incredibly well stocked and kept really nicely. I never experienced a complete his and hers bathroom with matching toilets and showers which was amazing! The host was super responsive to any questions.

Love this place!!

This is our second time staying here and it’s never a disappointment. The attention to detail at the home is incredible and the views from the yard this weekend were beautiful! Great place to stay!!

The house is beautiful, spacious and clean! Amazing views and the kids loved all the fun things in the backyard. Definitely staying here again for the next swim meet.

Beautiful & Relaxing getaway

The property was very clean and perfect for our large group. The hosts reached out in advance to see if we had any special requests and made check out a breeze. The kids loved all the toys and games, spending most of their time in the yard. Would definitely recommend, and would love to stay again!

Beautiful house, spectacular location! Close enough to town but nice and remote. Great view and lots of space and activities to do. House was fully stocked and had a thoughtful gift for us. We had a question on a Saturday morning, and the owner was very attentive and helpful. We definitely hope to be return guests!!

Beautiful Fall Football Vacation

My family gathered for a long weekend and it was everything we needed and more. Plenty of space inside and out with gorgeous views over the color changing mountains. Our hosts left us gifts and thought of so many little things that made the stay just perfect.

We came into town for a family gathering. The house was perfect for my family. There was so much room to spread out and lots of toys and games to keep the little ones busy. The house has everything we needed.

Birthday weekend with our student

A bunch of friends and family went to spend a birthday weekend with our Hokie. House was perfect for our group. Plenty of room, clean, all amenities were thoughtful and well placed. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Great for the Whole Family

Our host was spectacular. We had everything we needed. Fun game room with movies and video games for the kids. We all took our turn at pool, table tennis and air hockey as well. Great nature views of the mountains. We enjoyed seeing deer every morning and an occasional wild turkey or two. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

House was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway for three generations gathered in Virginia. My 91 year old dad showed off some talent on the pool table and the well-stocked kitchen meant we didn’t have to bring much to cook Turkey and all the sides. Comfortable beds, amazing views and tranquil setting. Huge TV for sporting events and a late night movie. The hosts also went the extra mile for us …searching for a lost sentimental item that later turned up in one of our suitcases. Overall, terrific experience. If it had been a little warmer we would have roasted marshmallows outside, but temperatures kept us inside admiring the views.

Best stay ever!

This was my first time using Vrbo, and I was absolutely blown away! This house was so clean, beautiful and cozy. We were so impressed with their attention to detail. If we thought of something, they had it. It was amazing! We all had a great time and cannot Recommend this home enough! We are going back again soon! Stocked kitchen & fun games!

We have rented a ton of short term rentals in various locales. This rental was by far the most stocked in the kitchen (spices, appliances, basics like flour, sugar, oil), extra blankets, pillows, soap/shampoo, towels, etc. It had everything we possibly needed! We loved the extras of the high chair, baby gates, air hockey table, board games, playroom (stocked with some toys and craft supplies!) and outdoor play space. We will definitely rent this place again if we are ever back in the area.

Family Gathering

House is just beautiful, really spacious, views out of this world. The property is full of things to do outside and inside, even for children. Many televisions, three "living rooms". Pool table/ping pong/air hockey table very nice. Nice kitchen, many amenities, lots of parking, upper and lower levels, easier access upper level into the kitchen if unloading/loading. You wish you lived there!

Great Property / Beautiful Scenery

This property was fantastic. What made it really stand out was the host paid attention to details like having coffee pods and sodas available to get you by until you have time to get to the store. Another huge plus was the kitchen. They did not skimp on knives or pots and pans. If I had to nitpick at anything, it's the location of the "en-suite" bathroom. It was great to have two separate showers and toilets but to get to it, you have to go through the master bedroom. Other than that, this is a fantastic house and would rent again.
