This 2-bedroom 2 bath second floor private condo features central AC, sleeps 4 on comfortable King and Queen beds and is on a property built in the unique Hawaiian tradition. Maalaea Surf hosts a tennis court, and pickleball courts, two pools, concierge service, steps to the beach, and a barbecue that is available for whatever island cooking you would like to do. There are cable TVs in the bedrooms, living room. There is also complimentary Wifi and convenient parking. Make yourself at home. As it is said on the island, Maui Na Ka Oi, (Maui the best.)

Disappointing Unit at Ma'alaea Surf Resort

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Ma'alaea Surf Resort several times and love the resort property, location and amenities. Great for families! We must say that Unit C10 was very disappointing compared to all other units we have stayed in. Specifically the kitchen was very dirty and the main living area dusty. The lanai furniture was uncomfortable.

Maui Beachfront Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this townhouse is spectacular, but unit C10 did not live up to the standards of quality that I anticipated from previous stays in other units at Ma’alaea Surf. The deck furniture is decaying and uncomfortable, light switches are broken, the kitchen ceiling has trapped many dead flies, bedroom louvred shutters are not functioning, closet door mirrors in both bedrooms are cracked and dressers are missing drawer pulls. The manager did provide a quick response to our complaints of leaking faucets and the sliding door to the deck that kept jamming. This particular rental does not live up to the excellent reputation of Ma’alaea Surf. We were impressed with the beauty of the grounds and how well they are maintained.

Wonderful spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, great location, wonderful views. We loved being able to easily go between the pool and the beach, walking to some of the best shave ice on Maui and the ABC store and farmers market. Such a short drive to the shops and restaurants of Kihei without being in the middle of the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beachfront location & grounds but disappointing unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location, pools,landscaping and courts. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find a number of deficiencies which required calls to our very helpful off-site rental manager. No owner's instruction manual was available for operating the TV'S and other equipment. The 1970's unit had not been recently updated. The very old and oversized deck furniture was sodden and took two days to dry after every rainfall. One of the deck chairs was broken and unsafe to use. Light bulbs in the entry hall and kitchen were burnt out. The sliding door screens unto the deck were damaged and kept falling off the rails. We had to ask for washing machine pods and when we couldn't find a bar of hand soap in the unit, a kind neighbour provided us one! There was a power outage on our last night which set off alarms at 1:00 am when power did return. It took several attempts to turn it off. We moved into a unit at Kihei Kai the following week and everything there was perfect and at half the price. We enjoyed an updated and well equipped unit with a rental manager actually on site. Plus an owner provided welcome binder, personal note, guide books, well-equipped pantry and a box of chocolates to top things off.
