You'll be able to step through your patio gate and directly onto a sandy beach access path at Surfs Edge 108, a ground-floor, oceanfront condo on the shores of midtown Ocean City.

This beachfront escape was completely renovated in 2021 with a brand new kitchen, new stainless steel appliances, a new washer/dryer, sparkling new bathrooms, and new flooring throughout. When you're not outside on the golden sand, you'll be treated to central air conditioning, a plush sectional sofa and a TV in the living room, and ample space to dine at the breakfast bar, at the dining table, and outside on the oceanfront patio.

In this part of midtown Ocean City, you'll be mere steps from the beach in one direction and one block from Coastal Highway in the other, providing you with easy access to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, bars, markets, miniature golf courses, and other sources of entertainment. The Assawoman Bay Bridge and the Ocean City Tennis Center are just two blocks south, while the heart of the Ocean City Boardwalk is less than three miles south.

THINGS TO KNOW
No smoking is allowed.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Dance moms and kids weekend
We had a great time. The beds works out wonderful for our number of people. It was great that it was so close to the beach. The only thing was the one key to the front door does not work. But we would definitely rent again

Cozy space
The condo had everything we needed for a weekend stay. It was right on the beach and there was plenty of room for the three of us. The beds were comfy and so was the set up. Appreciated having two bathrooms as well.

Nice unit in a great location!
This condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Being on the ground floor with easy access to the beach was great! This unit has been updated with all the amenities we wanted in a vacation condo.

Pro's modern amenities Very clean short and easy access to beach loved the little wet bar area with a drink fridge Con's parking spot underneath the building, tight clearance. Those with big pickup truck might not clear. Property on first floor, cannot see the ocean because it is block by the dunes, but the pics do show that and i knew that coming in. Overall I would stay again in a heartbeat

Great Proximity to the Beach, but bring toilet paper
Stayed here for a week with my family. We brought along 2 children and a lot of beach toys! If you want close proximity to the beach, this is place is highly recommended. Unit is nicely updated and spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The interior amenities were great, especially the washer/dryer. We were able to use the patio to store the beach gear each night instead of making a mess within the unit. It was difficult to figure out what the listing meant when they said the parking had a 6'6" clearance. This is because the primary parking spot is actually UNDER the complex, so you have to drive around and underneath into an underground parking lot. Thankfully, there were elevators and shopping carts to help you unload if needed. The listing also mentions a secondary parking spot away from the unit, however, finding this location was extremely difficult. Upon first impression, the unit was well kept and put back nicely by the cleaning crew that day. However, the cleaning crew did not have enough time to vacuum or mop. Our first night was spent vacuuming and sweeping because the rugs accumulated so much sand over time. Our kids feet would be dirty after their baths from walking around. Thankfully the homeowner had a vacuum and all the equipment we needed to take care of it. There was a problem with the unit's AC that we were without it for the first 2 nights. We tried to work with Vacasa Managment of Ocean City and unfortunately, this is where frustration sets in. It took A LOT of phone calls and even a walk in visit to get some answers, but we never got to the bottom of the problem. Unfortunately, a small staff trying to manage multiple properties and getting any possible answers took speaking to several people to get anywhere. Long story short, a technician went into the unit and had to unfreeze it. Our concern was NO ONE TOLD US he was coming and the tech just entered the property without our knowledge. I was told in person they would credit me for the 2 nights, I have tried to email them to follow up with no response from them. Lastly, the management company leaves you w/ a small bag of unit supplies (garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, etc) upon arrival. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. So we used the 2 rolls they supplied for us. I was told I had to buy more if I needed more by Vacasa. Sorry, but 2 rolls is not enough for a family of 4 for an entire week.
