Spacious and understated, this oceanfront condo at Sandbridge North provides a calming, beautiful setting for your escape to North Ocean City. This polished condo features an oceanfront balcony, TVs in the living room and den, a private washer/dryer, and central air conditioning - all with the beach mere steps away.

Sandbridge North is an oceanfront property in North Ocean City, separated only by the dunes from the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. It's just half a mile southeast of Northside Park, a 58-acre expanse with lighted sports fields, a fishing lagoon, concession stands, two playgrounds, a picnic area, two piers, a gazebo, walking and jogging paths, and a host of annual events. Coastal Highway, which is lined with restaurants, shops, nightlife, and sources of entertainment for all ages, is two short blocks to the west as well.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Al that I had expected and more.

Although the condo is somewhat dated, it was very clean and comfortable. I had brought several kitchen and bath items with me and found that so much was already provided. The view and the sounds from the patio served the purpose of helping to relax during my stay. Some condo owners were present during my stay. They were warm and welcoming. They shared their experiences with me and were able to identify these strange animals that I would see on the dunes from the patio. I learned from them that there are what are called Coastal Fox. They scurry and sniff around the dunes, sometimes in pairs. What an unexpected treat.

Dirty and kitchen and bathrooms need updating

The view was wonderful, looked like the carpet had been replaced, and the king bed in the master bedroom was new. However, when we arrived glasses in cabinet were cloudy, silverware was not cleaned, freezer was dirty and no ice was making in ice maker, frig had not been wiped out. The floors in both bathrooms were gritty with dirt and sand. Very disappointing. I spent over an hour cleaning so we could unpack.

Paying for location

This place is great for location, but only the location. It was not cleaned very well - towels and sheets were just left in random areas, I found someone’s socks in one of the dresser drawers, and pots, pans and most of the dishes were dirty when we arrived.

Great location, cleaning should be better

Location is amazing! However this is our second year there and cleaning needs improvement. Last year, the bathrooms weren’t cleaned but cleaning fluid had been left on the floor (which I discovered when I slipped on it) so it smelled clean. All surfaces also needed recleaning, as a cursory wipe revealed a layer of grime. So gross, but I cleaned it and we proceeded with the vacation. This year, we entered to find dirty toilets and one not working properly (the handle was loose and it would not flush). Clearly the cleaning crew had to know the condition they left the toilet, because it had the sanitized paper wrap on it. To Vacasa’a credit they sent a plumber within the hour who changed the handle and flapper. A cleaning crew never arrived. We also had to call to get all the towels we had rented. The person brought half what we needed, and explained they just didn’t have any others. Considering we paid for a full set, we found that inappropriate. As much as I love the location and the unit, I’m not sure we’ll return. Who wants to worry you won’t have the towels you expect, and worse a clean place?
