We keep a fully stocked kitchen, with all condiments and basic cooking needs (flour, olive oil, etc), 2 crockpots, cast iron pan, etc. Coffee, tea, sugar, grill tools - any kitchen stuff you need, we probably have. For guests 21 and over, there's also a "have extra, leave it - need some, take some" area for booze and MMJ.

There's a basement host space with a separate side entrance. There are no shared spaces, and your group can expect total privacy.

MAIN FLOOR: (1400 sqft, 3 bedrooms (king, queen, and 2 full/2 twin in the bunk room)
The main floor is spacious, featuring an open floorplan connecting living room/dining room/kitchen and islands. There's 2 full bathrooms.

LOFT: (~900 sqft, 2 queens, 1 pull out couch, 1 futon, and 1 twin)
This area is for sleeping and late night noise-making! There's an 8 foot folding table, great for party games. A pair of Sonos One speakers are controlled by the provided small tablet. The couch and a loveseat surround a 55" 4k TV. A gas wall heater keeps you warm, and a separately controlled AC to keep cool. NOTE: there's NO bathroom on the loft level - you'll need to walk down the stairs to the main floor to use a bathroom.

BASEMENT: (~600 sqft, 2 bedrooms, and 5 total beds)
Features 1 room with a queen bed, 1 with 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds total. There's also a full bath with tub. There's tiered couches and bean bags in the living area, with a 75" 4KTV. The floors are painted concrete, and are both ugly AND cold! Yay! We suggest using the provided slippers to keep feet warm. NOTE: There's a lockable door to the host space on the other side of the basement

2. Yard games: tailgate toss, ladder ball, bocce ball
3. Deck with big grill, beer fridge, tower heater.
4. All appliances run on house natural gas, so you'll never run out

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS:
1. The door to the North bedroom (with bunk beds) opens directly into the kitchen. The bathroom is around the corner, so guests in this room will walk through common areas to use the bathroom.

2. At the front and back doors, there's an external video camera facing out.

MORE ABOUT THE HOUSE

Background:
I bought my home in 2020 from Ed and Eloy, the brothers who grew up in this house 60 years ago. I've dubbed it The Lucero in their honor (they're great guys). Built in 1910, we retained the original Douglas Fir flooring and arches, and restored all the brass hardware. I added new kitchen appliances, bathrooms, smart tech, TVs. The pipes and wiring were replaced and brought up to code.

It's old, but is NOT a museum. Please use any glassware, furniture, cookware, etc - everything is meant to be used and enjoyed. Just be gentle on the soft wood floors!

Some other things to note:

1. No shoes inside please- slippers are great!

2. No smoking or vaping of tobacco or weed inside. Feel free to smoke outside, on the large deck with a heater. Enjoy edibles wherever you like!

3. There's a basement apartment with a separate entrance. Your host stays in this space, but will give you total privacy

4. Sloans Lake: This is not swimmable - it's just pretty to look at!

5. Safety: There's fire extinguishers in all areas of the home

6. Internet use: No illegal internet use. This includes torrents/pirated movies, underage materials, and generally being mean from this IP. The network for guests is separate, and any unlawful activity can be traced to the guest responsible for it :/

7. Marijuana: If flying, check your pockets and luggage for any marijuana! Some say that the packaging material contains magnetic strips that show up on TSA scanners? I have plastic baggies (drawer next to the stove) if needed. Or, you can avoid the risk, and leave it in the "Marijuana cache"
