What a great way to experience the OBX!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Longtime visitors to the OBX but this was our first time staying on the north beaches. What a great way to stay on the OBX! This particular house was gorgeous and I would describe it as a big 3BR, more like a 4BR alternative. Beach Realty made the process fool proof and this house is a gem. Highly recommend both!

Excellent Experience

I could not say enough good things about this property or my stay. The listing was accurate. The booking process wasn't terrible, the property manager called to discuss some of the things that I hadn't done. I arrived at the office of the property manager, and everything was in order and ready to go. At checkout I returned the beach passes to the office of the property manager, without and "hiccup's". The house is beautiful! The location was ideal for us. I will definitely look at this property again.

Horrible Service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had to cancel reservation due to an acute family illness. I advised Beach Realty early that this was the situation abundantly asked them to sublet. They did nothing, indeed, they kept the price the same, not even trying to help me recover some of my lost $4200 fee. When I inquired AB’s asked to speak to a manager, I received no response. Finally, the “rental insurance” they offer, which I spent another ~$300 on is USELESS, setting up so many conditions and limitations you can never collect. Renters BEWARE. This is not an honorable nor customer friendly agency. They are unresponsive and utterly unhelpful.

Beautiful Stay at Shell Bound

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great rental experience! Our overall stay was fantastic with the ideal location we were looking for. The house is close to the beach but also secluded where we could be surrounded by nature. We saw horses and deer in the yard multiple times. The house was very clean and in good condition. We didn't have any issues that needed to involve property management and they made the check in/out super easy. We had no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Great time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about the house and its location. The only complaint I have is that the bedroom level AC would never cool down enough. The unit did not freeze up but it just would not cool below 74 degrees. The main level and basement level AC worked perfectly.
