Sunset Paradise - Sunset and lazy river views!

Make your memories at Sunset Paradise! The sunsets over the bay from the large private balcony are absolutely breathtaking!

This condo is bright, cheerful, beachy, and just a really spiffy condo! This one is perfect for everyone! It's on the first floor right in from of the lazy river which is heated in the winter. It has wood tile floors, features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and covered parking with an elevator.

- Birders, relax on the large private balcony and watch Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, and Herons in their wetlands natural habitat
- Fisherman, the bay is only 12-18 inches deep- you can wade right out close to the condo
- Couples, enjoy the privacy of your own rooms to retire to at night after a day of enjoying the community together
- Families, let the little ones play on the splash pads or float them along on the lazy river. There are weekend crafts and activities for the kiddos as well.
- Winter Texans, this can be your piece of paradise for an escape to tranquility and peace.

This condo is located in the upscale Pointe West community on the bayside and is next to Coastal Waves Vacations rental called Splish Splash. Reserve both for larger groups.

Pointe West Beach Club

Spend a wonderful day at the pool or beach at the luxurious Pointe West Beach Club. Pointe West offers numerous amenities including, an infinity pool, a children's pool, a lazy river(heated in the winter), a fitness center, concierge service, beach rentals, a gift shop, and a restaurant. The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, (4 years or older). The use of the Beach Club is optional. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.

The community is easily walkable. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts dune buggies, or any other types are vehicles are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

Wonderful Father’s Day Weekend Stay!

This condo was very clean, decorated tastefully, and is a prime location with a view of the bay and pool. We very much enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony one night and from the lazy river pool (just steps away) the next night. This pool is very fun for young kids bc there are shallow areas and the lazy river while small, was super fun. We are a family of 5 - 2 adults, 3 kids (8, 5, and 1.5) and it was the perfect amount of space. My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful master suite, our boys slept in one room and we slept the baby in the other guest room in the pack n play. There were ample towels, soap, tp, etc for a two night stay. This was our first time to the Pointe West Community and WOW!!! It’s literally paradise! We grew up in Louisiana going to Destin/Pensacola….the Galveston beaches we have visited over the years left us yearning for the FL beaches we grew up going to. THIS is the first time staying in Galveston where I couldn’t have cared less about the FL coast! The beach here is pristine - SO clean, no seaweed or trash. The water was blue and clear! We were so impressed!!! We are already planning our next trip back to Pointe West and dreaming of owning our own condo here one day! The Beach Club area is lovely too. Amazing view at the infinity pool looking out at the gulf. Even if you are staying on the bay side it is very easy to drive (3 mins) to the beach club for beach/restaurant/pool access. There is covered parking underneath the beach club for this. The restaurant was great so was the service and very kind staff. 10/10 recommend this condo at Pointe West for your next visit to Galveston!

When we arrived, the elevator was broken. We were not notified. Mom is in a wheelchair.

We did not stay here. We were moved to another property where the elevator was working.

Comfort, Views, Family -- A Great Trip

We would book this unit again. It was comfy, the condo had pool and bay views, and the deck furniture was super comfortable. We had breakfast out on the patio one morning and enjoyed the sunsets and watching people fishing. The bedrooms were fine, slept great which is unusual for us when on vacation. Book this unit DIRECT through Coastal Waves so you don't have to deal with VRBO and pay their fees or deal with their voice mail. The people at Pointe West Beach Club were all super nice, lunch at The Pointe was great, and the pool overlooking the ocean was lovely. All in all, a great trip for our family. Advice: Read all the information they send which explains the rules (lots of them, but reasonable ones). We'll be back -- thanks for a great time with our family! The Cook Family Corsicana, Texas

Great little spot on Galveston Island away from all the craziness of the sea wall area. We love how quiet and nice the beaches are at the pointe. Get condo with beautiful sunsets and pool views
