Good location, clean apartment, very confused manager/landlord
The manager/landlord Michael is a very confused person. The check-in and check-out process was a nightmare because he had no awareness of how messed up his key policy was. I was told to go to a grocery store, which was 15-20 mins walking distance away from the apartment, to get the key. But the key that I got had no functional fob to enter the apartment and therefore we had to wait for others to open the gate for us. And the functional fob was attached to the spare key inside the apartment. We tried to inform Michael of the absurdity of the situation and all he said was "we got only one fob." Yes Michael, we knew that. Your functional fob was left inside the apartment! The whole time he had no idea what went wrong and kept asking me if I got the fob. Yes, Michael. Otherwise we would have zero access to the apartment.
Then the check-out process. We were told to put the key back to the smart-key-box inside the grocery store. Fine. We drove to the store thinking that this time we need to do it the right way by leaving the functional fob inside the box for the next person. Guess what? We couldn't. The set of key that had the fob for the apartment gate did not have the sensor to access the smart key box. And the key that had the sensor for the smart key box did not have the fob to the apartment.
Michael, what the f were you doing? Why the f cannot you just put the fob and the sensor together on the same set of key? We need both in order to access the key and the apartment.
