non working oven not resolved
We were a family of four visiting our grown daughter and her partner.
She had cookies, pies, and holiday breads prepared and ready to bake at the rental.
The oven did not work in our VRBO and we had to load everything into 2 cars and move it all to her apartment 30 minutes away. Because this all happened Christmas morning, it’s understandable that it would be hard to get it handled right away. But we were there December 24-28 and nobody ever came to fix it. All communication about anything had to go through the VRBO app even though I had a phone number to call or text the owner. It was pretty frustrating. Maybe most people don’t really cook much while on vacation, but you want to know that you can. The home itself was clean, nicely furnished with a nice layout.
There is one bed upstairs though with such a firm mattress, we had to check that it wasn’t actually a boxspring. Our daughter ended up staying at her own place for part of our visit due to the hard mattress and oven issue. We’ll be visiting the area often but unfortunately won’t stay at this rental again. If you just want to reheat stuff and your kids like sleeping on an extra super firm bed, then you’ll be fine here.
