This beachfront vacation home in the Sunset Beach community enjoys stunning views of the Gulf with plenty of covered and open decks to lounge. Two living and dining areas provide space to spread out, and two gas fireplaces bring warmth in the cooler months. A convenient elevator makes unpacking for your island vacation a breeze.

The exterior of this home offers concrete parking under the house and a covered entry. Enjoy the private boardwalk to the sandy shore and pop in the enclosed outdoor shower after a full day at the beach. A fish cleaning area and double park-style grill are provided for your fisherman’s catch. An exterior staircase will directly take you from the first-floor living area to the boardwalk.

The first floor of this home offers an open-concept common area with stylish decor. The centrally located and well-appointed kitchen features spacious counters and a convenient prep island with seating. The dining table enjoys ocean views and is adjacent to the living room with a cozy sectional, large TV, and home theater system. An additional living area with a TV and a breakfast table makes the perfect location for board games and card games. Enjoy direct access to the furnished covered deck from this level. An additional screened porch is a bonus for relaxing. Other highlights include a washer/dryer, DVD player, and VCR.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The house is very close to the beach and just a short walk to the state park.

The restaurants on the island have wonderful seafood. Loved the experience.

spacious lodging

great location. nice facility. only reason for dropping star was the elevator not working. for the elderly couple it made the stay a little difficult. the elevator was one of the big selling points for the house.

Dream Home

I have been going to SGI with my husband`s family for the past 10 years. Every year we stay somewhere different. This year we found our favorite. All 10 of us loved Moonlight Sonata. We loved how the house is laid out with the bedrooms above the common space. The decks were great for looking out at the beach. We definitely oved being right on the beach. Tons of games, TVs in every room, comfy beds. It was great having an extra fridge & oven. Although we think the ovens need servicing. They didn`t all heat up equally. Also the cleaners were lacking in cleanliness. We had to clean & sweep some areas after they left & remake some beds, but we lived with it cause we loved the house. We did alert RVP of the issue. Hopefully it`s remedied quickly because we plan to be back next year. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Great house!

We`ve rented several beach properties on SGI and other places, and this is one of our favorites! The house is very close to the beach (even compared with beach front properties in The Plantation, where we usually stay) and the 3 levels of balconies were fantastic. You literally didn`t need to leave the house to feel like you were on the beach! Being so close to the park/preserve was wonderful as well, as the beach was not crowded and felt very private.The house itself is laid out nicely with plenty of room for our 3 sets of families. Bonus having individual bathrooms attached to each bedroom! The kitchen was one of the best-stocked of any rental property we`ve stayed at - we even enjoyed making waffles in the waffle maker! Beds were comfortable as well. The elevator is great for older or mobility impaired guests. We really loved Moonlight Sonata and would likely book it again for future escapes.
