We are fully licensed by the City of Vancouver for both short and long term rentals. This gracious family home is nestled in the magnificent suburb of Quilchena, bordering Shaughnessy, and just a stones throw from the Kerrisdale and the Arbutus Greenway. It is close to the beaches and has easy access to downtown and other popular Vancouver sights and restaurants.

The main floor has both a living and dining room furnished with pieces from RH (Restoration Hardware) to entertain friends and family. A smaller TV room with a large reclining leather sofa and window seat is perfect for watching your favourite TV and Cable shows. A 55" TV comes complete with both cable and Roku. Completing the main floor is a large kitchen area complete with a built-in writing desk and a breakfast table and chairs. Upmarket appliances have been used throughout and include a natural gas stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, toaster oven and rice cooker.

The kitchen opens to an outdoor patio facing the North Shore mountains complete with a BBQ, patio table and chairs and a large patio umbrella.

On the top floor of the house, there are three large bedrooms all with large closets. The main bedroom with queen sized bed has lovely views of the city and North Shore mountains. The en-suite bathroom has an above-average-sized shower and can comfortably accommodate two people.

The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed while the third bedroom has a double bed. Both of these rooms have desks and chairs.

The second bathroom is a comfortable size with a shower bath, single basin, vanity and toilet. Like the main bedroom, this bathroom has city and mountain views.

The landscaped garden is carefully maintained on a regular basis and has a wide variety of trees, flowering shrubs and bushes. Completing the garden is a cascading pyramid water feature. At night, the garden is attractively lit with landscape lighting. Automatic watering is in place.

Wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful heritage home. Lots of character! Lovely neighbourhood surrounded with well kept homes and gardens. View of the ocean from the master bedroom. Our family of 5 felt right at home durning our stay! Thank you Ann-Maree. We will be back again!

Beautiful home!

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. It was spotless, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The outdoor space is lovely too - plus there are beautiful views. We highly recommend!

Proceed with caution

Booked a stay here for two weeks while my son visited UBC. Having all 5 star reviews and pictures/video made this location very appealing. Unfortunately it fell short. Refrigerator issues, spotty WiFi, 1 TV with basic channels (bring your streaming accounts!), silverfish in master bath. The worst part were the mice. We woke to mouse droppings on the KITCHEN table (no food was left out). Also had a number of sightings. Not afraid of me at all, running right under my chair! The owner quickly sent exterminator who said it was a low to medium INFESTATION. Tried to stick it out but eventually moved to a hotel. I do believe the owner was very responsive by sending someone out, however, she did nothing to make amends for us moving to hotel. We gave her 3 months to work thru but eventually she stopped responding. Honestly I would have been happy with a prorated reimbursement for time we didn’t stay there or frankly “I’m so sorry that you had to deal with that”. Instead met more with “never had that happen before, we have new guests coming as soon so we need to resolve”. Have avoided leaving review because don’t want to disrupt her business, however, this could be why 5 stars existed. Not a nature girl here and if I had read a review about issues, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Relaxing stay

My family stayed over the Christmas break. The house was very clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. A big kitchen with all the necessary amenities, a living room and a lovely dining room. We were able to spend time with family and have a Christmas dinner. It was a great neighbourhood- walking distance to amenities and beautiful walking trails.
