Fabulous for a family reunion!

Six adults and two kiddos easily fit into this cozy, thoughtfully crafted, well-kitted out home. We spent hours in the kitchen together prepping meals, and even hosted additional family members and friends for a big reunion. Beds are super comfy, the back deck and bbq were helpful additions. And the ready hot tub is a treat! You’re going to love this space. We’ll certainly be back
 despite the rain.

Seven adults stayed in this house before we left for a cruise. Great outdoor area. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of visiting Vancouver. Great house!

Great Central Stay

We loved our time here! The hot tub was excellent, and the kitchen had all the bowls/spinners/pans/pots we could hope for. The host was accommodating and easy to contact, and the property itself is as listed. A great little spot not too far from Main or Commercial!

Beautiful home in Vancouver!

Beautiful home in Vancouver! Easy, close access to the city, but located in a quiet neighborhood. Owner was responsive to my questions, inquiries etc. and very caring. Home was very clean and had a particular charm to it! Just know that although this home sleeps 8, you will be charged if there are more than 2 people staying. I guess this is a VRBO policy of some sort.But other than that discrepancy, everything was wonderful, the owners are very kind and accommodating, and we would recommend this home

Comfortable house for family stay

Steve's house has plenty of room for a family of five or six. It is spacious and well laid out. While the house is older, the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated and the house has a lot of charm. There was a lot of room to work and hang out together. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wedding in Vancouver

My family of 7 adults travelled from Atlanta, Georgia to attend a wedding in Vancouver. The house was perfect for our needs. Lots of room to spread out during the day and the bedrooms were each a good size and comfortable. We would’ve loved to have one more bathroom but managed to get by with just 2.

Long Vancouver weekend with family

We had a lovely family get-away in Vancouver over the Canada Day weekend. There were 8 of us in the house and we could really spread out. There are lots of seating choices that could accommodate all of us in the same area without feeling crowded, like the dining room, the tv room, and the seating area on the deck. The house is lovely, with a lot of modern touches to make things comfortable. The gardens that surround the house are absolutely beautiful! The owner was super nice and he was great with communications. Lots of good reminder notes around the house. We will remember this wonderful stay for a really long time.

BEWARE- Money grab for bogus claims. Don't stay if you use perfume or have scented products!

We stayed here thinking that it was a relatively good deal, but they kept the 500 cleaning fee claiming that there was a sweet "vaping smell" left in the home. To be clear, we did not vape. We also complained that a smell was wafting through their bottom unit, but they claimed their cleaners didn't find any scent. We asked for proof of vaping, but they refused to provide it. We disputed it, and the owner stopped answering messages. We could only discern that they smelled the perfumes and products used. (For the record we were all adults and half the party has asthma and or breathing issues.). I'd look for somewhere more central with a less antiquated ventilation system and an honest home owner. The home was not up to par in that regard.

I can't live without good food, good beer, and my bicycle.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

When I saw this home for the first time, I immediately fell in love with the space. It was definitely not what it is today, as I've painstakingly and lovingly restored it myself to where it is today. I love this home for it's central city location, within reach of all the great Vancouver neighbourhoods.
