Down by the bay is where you’ll find peace and solace on your Emerald Coast vacation! Bay Cottage is a cute beach cottage located in Destin’s Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. It occupies a quiet enclave right on the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay. Inside, the home radiates with cottage charm, featuring subtle blue accents, coastal décor, sunny windows, and stunning water views. The two-story Bay Cottage has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It can accommodate up to eight vacationers.

The home’s first floor is dedicated to relaxed living space, as well as two guest bedrooms. The living room is bright and welcoming, with ample sunlight filtering through large windows and a set of glass doors that opens onto a screened balcony with Bay views. The balcony is furnished with a glass-topped table, straw chairs, and a bench swing—great for enjoying the vacation air. From here, guests can access a long deck that leads right to the bay. Inside, the living room is just as cozy, and great for relaxing after a fun day hanging out on the beach or the bay. A casual seating ensemble is made up of a white couch with patterned accent pillows, matching loveseat, and a blue lounge chair. The setup is centered around a beach-inspired drink table and faces a flatscreen TV mounted atop a pale blue credenza. Honey-toned floors flow from the living room into an open kitchen. The kitchen has gleaming countertops, spacious white cabinetry, stylish tile backsplash, and stainless-steel appliances. Next to the kitchen, the sunny dining alcove is perfect for a casual vacation meal or more formal dining. The dining room consists of a hardwood table, six straw-woven chairs, a modern chandelier, and a white side cabinet.

Two guest bedrooms are also located on the first floor. One bedroom features a queen-size bed, cottage-style furnishings, an en-suite bath, and access to the screened porch. The other guest bedroom is great for the kids, as it has two twin bunks, a colorful blue rug, and a large window. Upstairs, you will find the luxury master suite, which encompasses the entire second floor. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, grand windows with bay views, access to a breezy balcony, and a private bath with dual vanities and a glass-walled, walk-in shower.

Not only is this bay cottage spacious and comfortable, it also provides guests with access to a number of great amenities and vacation activities. A community swimming pool is only a two-minute walk from the home. There is a beach tram available to take you to the sparkling beach. A pedestrian bridge leads directly to Jolee Island, which is a picturesque getaway spot that is fun for the whole family. The Village of Baytowne Wharf is another nearby must-visit destination. It is home to a variety of restaurants and shops, and it hosts all kinds of fun events, festivals, firework displays, and family activities.
