Welcome to the ultimate Northwoods getaway on the shores of one of the Hayward Lakes most popular lakes! The spacious, well-appointed log home vacation rental features 5,000 square feet spread over 3 floors, gorgeous views of Round Lake, 5 bedrooms and 5 baths.
Conveniently located less than 10 miles from downtown Hayward, WI, this stunning Wilderness Log home sits on the shores of the clear waters of Round Lake. With southerly exposure, this well-appointed vacation home basks in the afternoon sun and enjoys beautiful views of the lake from inside and outside the home. With amazing water clarity, great fishing and perfect for water sports, Round Lake is a four season, 3,000 acre playground for water enthusiasts.
The main floor of the comfortably furnished home features a great room with stone fireplace, vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic view overlooking the lakefront. Off the great room is a large, open fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast nook, stainless appliances and counter seating. There’s plenty of room to share meals together with multiple dining room tables for meals and games. The sun room porch is a relaxing space with comfortable patio furniture, fireplace and access to the lakeside deck.
There is a main floor master bedroom suite off the great room, too. The master suite features private deck, flat screen TV, jacuzzi tub, double sinks and large, walk-in glass and tile shower.
The upper floor has three large bedrooms, full bath and a carpeted living room loft area.
The lower level includes a fifth bedroom, full bath and laundry room. The walkout lower level offers easy access to the lake and dock as well as plenty of space for fun and games with family room, fireplace, wet bar, pool table and foosball table.

This cabin rents Friday to Friday during peak season. Pet's allowed with pre approval. Must cleanup after pet. Hot tub is not for guest use.

Beautiful and spacious!

The property is a beautiful log home with gorgeous lake views. Location is an easy distance from several good bar/resturants and Hayward for shopping or eatting out. It was easy to find, ample parking for several large vehicles and welcomed us with a carved bear on the porch! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need or want including small appliances, multiple coffee makers and a fantastic gas stove! The kitchen is roomy for multiple people in the kitchen at one time. Large frig plus bar frig with enough space for a large group. There is plenty of dining space and comfy furniture to relax into in the living areas. Fun awaits in the basement game area with pool, Foosball and plenty of family board games. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of bedding and even extra pillows. This is the PERFECT family or friends gathering spot! We are a 50s, 60s friend group, and we can't wait to return. The only thing lacking here was not enough wash cloths. We hope to return in the summer with our kayaks! I can't wait to use that 3 season porch!

family vacation

The location is unbeatable, the views and lake are beautiful, and Round Lake is crystal clear. We had lots of space to spread out, the proximity to Hayward and golf courses was tops, and Mike was easy to reach when we couldn't get that oven to work. Thanks for a perfect location for us all!

Pleasant and relaxing week at the Lumberjack.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lumberjack was as described. However, it has only one complete bathroom upstairs along with a sink in two of the bedrooms. There was plenty of room for the entire family and the lower level was great for the grandchildren to play. Grocery store is conveniently located. Outside we enjoyed rides on the pontoon boat, eating on the patio, fishing, using the fire pit and watching the eagles soar above the lake. Kids had fun using the kayaks and paddle board. Overall our stay was pleasant and we found the Lumberjack to be a nice place for the whole family to be together.
