Beautiful Lakefront Home | Private Dock on Chief Lake

Welcome to this spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath lakefront home on Chief Lake, perfectly located just down the road from the public boat landing and within walking distance to a local restaurant.

Step inside to an inviting great room with beautiful lake views, where large windows fill the space with natural light. The cozy living area is ideal for relaxing, gathering with family, or simply enjoying classic Wisconsin lake scenery.

Just off the great room is a fully equipped kitchen, complete with two refrigerators—perfect for larger groups, extended stays, and stocking up for lake days. Nearby, you’ll find a laundry room and a bedroom featuring a queen bed and bunk bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements.

To the right of the main entry is the primary bedroom, featuring a queen-size bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Down the hall are two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom, providing plenty of space and privacy for everyone.

The lower level is made for entertaining and unwinding, with a comfortable sitting area, TV, full bathroom with shower, and a charming Northwoods-style bar. Walk out through the patio doors to your private dock and lakeside lawn, ideal for swimming, relaxing, or evening campfires by the water.

Family Fun

Great location for a fun relaxing family vacation. The kids can jet ski (we bring our own machine but they have a place to tie up) and our own pontoon for the week. Great location on the water. The kids can fish, float, swim. We can check out the other bars and restaurants on the flowage. Stop at a beach for the day and enjoy the beautiful weather. Made most of our meals at the house or over the campfire. Within walking distance to pats landing and the chief bar and grill. Will definitely return!

Last minute cancellation

I’m sure it would have been great, but they canceled on us a month before our stay this summer. We had to scramble to find an alternate location on the Flowage at that late date. Very disappointed this happened. Be aware when renting private residences that they can cancel at anytime.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: $1M view and location. Disappointed in the details. Felt run down like the owner is squeezing every dollar out of the $6K rental. Interior not updated. Issues with clothes dryer, ventilation/air conditioning/dehumidifier (felt damp with a mildew smell), carpet looked dirty, kitchen was barebones, cheapest items bought at garage sales or the thrift store, kitchen cabinets not tracking, shower head in master bath needs to be replaced, dock/lift left damage on gel coat, grill was dirty/rusty. For what we paid could have rented two cabins elsewhere on the Flowage- Pats Landing down the block for example. Will not stay again.
