Executive Custom Log Lodge on Little Round Lake

Custom built 7,500 sq feet Wilderness Log home with 6+ bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Beautiful views of Little Round Lake, secluded and private with boat access to energetic Round Lake with bars and restaurants.

The perfect entertaining lodge. Double Ovens makes entertaining for large groups easy and efficient, with access to an enormous deck and screen porch. Oh, and the custom log bar in the basement, well there is not better place to soak in the Northwood's while indoors with great views of the lake. Enjoy the custom log shuffleboard and log poker table, or just sit back and enjoy the (very) good life.

All rooms are over-sized and offer top of the line furnishings and finishes. You really must see this property to truly appreciate its beauty and grandness.

Great for family gatherings, corporate retreats and just a reunion of friends.

Multiple restaurants and bars are accessible by boat on Round Lake, even a marina with gas to refill so you can spend all day on the water! You do have to go under the bridge to get to Round Lake, which can be a tight fit, but not far at all. We have a newer 22' pontoon boat that is available for rent as well. If the water is really high, there is a chance you might not fit, but this has not happened to us over the last 5 years.

Off the water, there is a winery and casino (age 18+) within 5 miles. There is also mini golf, go carts, log rolling and much, much more to explore!

We also have 3 kayaks (1 is a double person) and a paddle boat that are included with your rental. And again, we have to mention that we have a brand new pontoon also available for an additional charge.

In summary, Custom built Wilderness Log Home features 6 BR, 4 BA, stately family room, gourmet kitchen with island and double ovens, full log interior and accents, master suite with Jacuzzi tub, 2 laundry rooms & fully finished walkout lower level. Max guests - 16 and offers a perfect retreat for entertaining. Attached 2 car & detached 2 car garages. Tranquil setting on a quiet lake but also offers access via boat to popular Round Lake.

An excellent place for our family. We enjoyed the many areas for our family to play board games, card games and plenty of places for quiet time for our group. The extra fridge space was a luxury for our family meals. Our group enjoyed the outdoor decks and fire pit! Everything was as expected or better.

Family Gathering

The property was clean, accommodating and provided tranquillity for our family. Beautiful property with plenty of space. There was something for everyone to do inside and out. Private beach and dock made it easily assessable to enjoy water rafts provided, as well as, some friendly fishing. We took advantage of the fire pit for the chilly evenings by the bonfire. Mike was easy to communicate with throughout and responded quickly! I’d recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to make memories with their families and friends.

Great Location Close to Hayward/Birkie Trail

Beautiful, massive cabin close to Hayward. This was a perfect stay for our large group in town for a ski race. Lots of space to spread out. Mike is very communicative and friendly. Would book again!

Beautiful home

This is a luxurious home located in the woods on a remote end of Little Round Lake outside of Hayward, WI. It is a beautiful property with a multitude of features, including kayaks for trips on the lake and a small beach for kids to play in the water. We enjoyed our week there immensely.

Perfect house for all seasons getaway

This house is charming inside and out. All updated in a great location with a lake just steps away. It was a pleasure to spend the New Year’s Eve here and we look forward to come back in summer time. The views might be stunning deep in the woods in summer time, too!

A Wonderful Place

The Lodge exceeded our expectations. Communication with our host was very easy and response was quick. Beautifully furnished and comfortably accommodated 12 adults and one little one. Kitchen was equipped with everything. needed for cooking all our meals. Wonderful location that truly gave the Up North experience. Renting the pontoon gave us all the chance to enjoy the lake.

Family Gathering

We loved our stay at the lodge. It was the perfect size to allow everyone to be together but yet still able to have some space for their own. We used the kayaks daily. Didn't catch many fish but the water is outstanding and fish were pleniful...we just weren't on our fishing game. The owner, Mike was super helpful with any questions we had prior and during. We are already talking about when to book our next stay at the lodge.

Great house

Great house for family gathering, well equipped and clean. Shuffleboard was a hit with kids and adults. The house is big enough to not feel crowded. One minor thing- The owner asked to start a dishwasher and a washer with towels but detergent is not provided nor the dishwasher tabs. We had a great time staying here and look forward to coming back in the future.

Great space to celebrate the holidays

Our spread out family looks for a place to gather over the holidays to spend some time together. Executive Custom Log Lodge was wonderful. The lodge provided ample space for our indoor activities. The kitchen was a very comfortable space and the deluxe dining table gave us a great place to gather for meals. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone and plenty of room to spread out for different needs/activities. Mike was very responsive to our initial questions/needs and we all enjoyed our stay. Access to Hayward was easy as well.

Snowmobiling in late January

The house was exactly as described and Mike is excellent with communication. Lake in the backyard to jump right on the trails & the house has great space for our group of 6 couples to spend time together at night. large heated garage gave a great space to hang gear to dry at night & 2 large refrigerators was awesome to have for a big group. Made a big breakfast every morning too and the kitchen is well equipped! Thanks Mike, love the house!!

2021 Family Christmas

We chose this property for our family Christmas and it exceeded our expectations! There was more than enough space both inside and out for multiple families to stay comfortably. The view of the lake from the main floor is beautiful. The owner was always quick to answer questions and a great communicator. We have rented other properties for past Christmas’s, this property by far surpassed our expectations and the other properties we’ve stayed at. Also note, many property rentals say “fully stocked kitchen” which isn’t always true. However, this place was by far the most well equipped we’ve seen. It had more than enough of your every day items and much more. We would definitely recommend booking and are considering booking again!

Gorgeous view of the lake! We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck admiring the view.House was so beautiful. The host provided everything we needed. The ping pong table and shuffle board table were a huge hit!

Great place to stay. Loved Round Lake and Little Round Lake. Get the pontoon with the house, it makes it so much easier and is much less expensive than the marina rentals. Plenty of cooking space, sleeping space, and especially gathering space. Swimming by the dock is not great so we got a Lilly pad to use in deeper, less weedy waters. Enjoyed our week and now we have to go back home.

Pleasant week on Little Round Lake

The cabin was spacious. The front yard was a good place for the children to run and play. Nice seating around the fire pit. We enjoyed using the pontoon and had a good time fishing. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had.

We have owned some beautiful vacation rentals around the state of Wisconsin. Our first was on the river near the Wisconsin Dells. Beautiful log home, but didn't have the Northwood's atmosphere. So we sold and purchased 1 on Big St Germain Lake near Minocqua. It rented out so well, that we could never go ourselves, so we bought another on Razorback Lake and then the Willow Flowage. All were beautiful places that we loved, but owning/managing 3 vacation rentals was too much for us to handle, so we sold them all and started looking four our DREAM Cabin. We have 5 kids, and 1 grandbaby, so we wanted something with plenty of space for all of us and our friends, with beautiful lake views and quality finishes. We really believe we found it here, with the Round Lake Grand Lodge!
