"The Salty Shamrock" is a spacious 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home located in the Highland Park community, just off 30A. Less than a mile from the beach, this stunning home offers a bright and airy ambiance with beautiful furnishings, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and granite countertops throughout. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a generous island, and comes fully stocked with everything you might need. Better Than Average

Overall it was a nice vacation with a nice house. It is a little distance to the beach when you have small children. We had to call for more towels because some were missing, but they were very accommodating. The downstairs bathroom had been soiled/not properly cleaned as well as bed had sand in it. Upstairs had sand on floors. Would recommend a small upright vacuum for guests to use.

Beautiful home

Took our two teen kids and their friends for the week and enjoyed the home immensely. The the beds were all super comfortable, the house was impeccably clean, the couch was very cozy and comfortable after a long day in the sun/surf and we all sat enjoying movies after our showers. We had great water pressure. The house was built with quality. The beds were all very comfortable. The pillows were minimal and thin so bring your own. The pool was very close although we only went once. We cooked at home one evening for dinner and ate out the rest of the dinner meals but they had a blender for smoothies and a strainer for pasta. We notified the management that the towel hooks in the upper and lower masters kept falling off once a towel was hung. The golf cart was a big selling point for us bc of the teens in our group, we did many trips to Watercolor & Seaside and unfortunately the golf cart included ended up being a frustration. The charge in the golf cart wouldn’t hold so after contacting management, the service tech was sent two days later. When we would charge the gfi switch would trip so the cart wouldn’t charge fully. When we would attempt to take it out, the charge would drop rapidly and the steering is horrible and this is not an exaggeration. Being around golf courses for 40 years, this electric golf cart needs to be retired. The repair man stated that it shouldn’t be driven for more than 45 minutes at the most. Thst wont get you far from the house/ there and back so don’t expect to take the cart far. We rented power bikes and scooter (our daughter waiting on hip surgery) and THESE were great and transported us all around 30a. The house was great. The bikes we rented extra were great. The golf cart was not great at all and you would expect it to be able to get you to/from where you’d like to go within reason of the area but this won’t be how you get there. We rented bikes from Bike Daddy’s and they were excellent.

30a quick trip

Property was nice. Very clean and everything was working and easy to figure out. For our rental we used the golf cart as the beach access is not walkable (if carrying stuff). Not too bad if just carrying towels. Overall a good experience with good location for short drives to many restaurants. But would state the listing is not quite accurate. Bed3 and 4 share a full bath/tub in the hallway. It’s not dedicated as described for bed 3. This did cause us a little juggling due to the composition of our group. The half bath is on the main floor in the living space, not by bed 4. Overall not too much of a hassle but it should be updated for accuracy.

Salty Shamrock

We enjoyed the size of the house and location. We also enjoyed the use of the golf cart. There needs to be better cleaning of the house prior to guests arriving. Upon arrival my granddaughters pulled off their shoes and within a few minutes their feet were dirty and I mean “very dirty.” Needless to say we all wore shoes the rest of the time or we had to wash our feet often. The floors may have been swept but I don't think any mopping had been done which makes you wonder if the “promised” proper sanitation was even completed. I would suggest having grill utensils provided for the grill. A full size vacuum cleaner would have been an added convenience. For the cost of the property rental and the cleaning fees, , I feel it should have been very clean.
