Hidden Gem is located in a quiet, beach-front residential neighborhood where you can walk to the beach in just 3 minutes. Hidden Gem's beach aka Butler Beach is one of the most beautiful and definitely the least crowded beach in St. Augustine!

At Hidden Gem, you'll enjoy a peaceful vacation at the beach while still having convenient access to the busy Historic Downtown area. Due to its central location on Anastasia Island, everything St. Augustine has to offer is nearby.

In addition to a spacious fully-fenced in yard, one of the best features of Hidden Gem is its proximity to the beach making beach days and catching sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean a breeze! Another cool aspect of Hidden Gem's location is easy access to the Intracoastal where you can launch boats or other watercrafts, and enjoy incredible sunsets at Frank Butler Park West (2 min. drive away).

Property is located in a quiet residential beachfront neighborhood. The neighborhood is on the East side of A1A Blvd, so you do NOT have to cross A1A to get to the beach. Closest beach access is literally right around the corner from Hidden Gem (see below for more info).

- Walk to the beach in just 3 minutes via a wooden boardwalk through the dunes.

- Or, you can drive or ride a bike onto the beach via Matanzas Avenue Ramp, which is only 2 blocks away within the neighborhood. If driving on, 4WD is recommended. We provide 2 beach cruisers for guests!

- 2 flat screen TVs with basic cable & Netflix streamed on an Amazon Fire Stick.

- Complimentary WIFI.

- Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, large toaster oven, standard coffee maker, microwave, countertop induction cooktop, and everything you'll need to cook a meal.

- Outside electric gas grill with a single side-burner.

- Ensuite laundry room with a washer & dryer.

- Large bedroom with a comfy king-sized bed.

- Full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

- Bath & bed linens provided.

- Beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, & bocci ball are also provided.

- Two beach cruisers and one foam-top surf board available for guests to use.

- Private fully fenced-in yard & outdoor shower. It's hard to find a large fenced-in yard so close to the beach!

- Private outdoor seating area.

- On-site parking (limited to 1 vehicle, unless otherwise approved).

- Close to grocery & liquor stores, restaurants, shops, St. Augustine Amphitheater and the Historic Downtown area.

- 1 dog is allowed. No cats or other pets. Payment of a non-refundable pet fee & agreement to Hidden Gem's Pet Policy is required. The pet fee will be reflected in your quote when your dog is included in your reservation. When making your reservation, you will be asked to select the number of guests and whether you're bringing a pet or not. Please make sure to include your dog if you plan to bring them along so that the pet fee is included in your quote and to ensure the apartment is properly staged for you (we provide some dog items for those traveling with their pup).

- This property features 2 separate apartments. Hidden Gem (pictured) is located on the first level and has its own private entrance on the right-hand side of the property. The second-level apartment is currently occupied by residents on a full-time basis. Being respectful of guests staying below is a huge priority, especially at night. The only common area shared with the other apartment is parking.

A note on the cleaning fee:

The cleaning fee is a one-time fee for the entire stay and 100% of it goes to our cleaner. While guests are asked to maintain a good level of cleanliness during their stay, we do not require our guests to complete an extensive checkout procedure unlike a lot of other hosts. At Hidden Gem, our guests are only asked to kindly do the following before departure:

- Place used towels in bedroom hamper
- Rinse off any used beach items so they are not sandy and return to closet
- Load & run the dishwasher
- Turn off lights & electronics

Guests with a dog are also asked to clean up after them in the yard before checkout (baggies & scoop set are provided) as that goes beyond the call of duty for our cleaner :)
