The space
Our cosy cottage, built in 1890, is a lovely base from which to explore the Yorkshire coast, the Cleveland Way, and the North York Moors National Park, as well as Staithes, Whitby and other local attractions.
A lockbox offers easy access to the property. On entrance there is a hallway with coat hooks, leading to a cosy living room with log burning stove and comfy sofas.
Further along the hallway is the spacious kitchen/diner, with a full size fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, double oven, and access to the garden. At the rear of the garden is a convenient parking space for one car.
The dining area comfortably seats 6, and there is also another sofa and TV, so everyone can relax together while meals are prepared.
Upstairs there is a generous master bedroom (with King size bed) and plenty of storage, and a further bedroom with bunk beds. Also on this floor is the family bathroom, with a shower over the bath.
An original door then leads to the attic bedroom, with 2 single beds and further storage.
The fully fenced garden features a lovely patio area adjacent to the house, partially covered by a gazebo. There is also a lawned area, and access to the lane at the back of the cottage.
