The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking, and cyclists, and nearby you have many hiking trails, also within 9 miles, is the amazing Longleat Safari and Adventure Park, which is an ideal day out for both young and old.
The property is only a 10-minute drive to the centre of Westbury town, with its awe-inspiring Westbury White Horse which is both the largest and oldest White Horse in Wiltshire. Longleat Festival of Lights is only 15 - 20 minutes from the cottage Running from November – January. Stourhead is only 20 minutes from the cottage. running between November – January. The after-dark illuminated trail through the garden at Stourhead. Spend a week visiting all the local places of interest, such as beautiful Georgian Bath, just 14 miles away, with its Roman baths, pump rooms, Pultney Bridge and weirs, and The Royal Crescent. Also close by is Bradford upon Avon, with its Saxon, medieval and Tudor heritage. Bath Christmas Market is approximately 30 minutes from the cottage running from November to December. Celebrating the market’s 20th anniversary, in 2022 the market will run for 18 days as part of the wider ’Bath at Christmas’ events. More than 170 chalets will sell a range of seasonal gifts, food and drink.
