Light and Bright 2 BR, 2 Bath unit with an open Dining/Living floor plan. Ideally located close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment and other conveniences. A beautiful ,well maintained gated complex at the south end of the Island. Come enjoy the sunshine, salty air, and listen to the waves. The Somerset is the perfect beach vacation!
All residences in the Somerset face the Gulf of Mexico, providing unobstructed views. Delight in the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the private balcony. Somerset amenities include two heated pools, two tennis courts, BBQ grills, and exercise facility. Whether you choose a leisurely vacation, or an adventure packed one, there are a multitude of activities to enjoy on Marco Island. Walk to unique shopping, restaurants, and a movie theater. Explore the breathtaking landscape and natural wonders of the area by ship, boat, kayak or canoe!

Great Views, Great Location, Ok Condo

Fantastic Views & Great location! We would stay again, but there are some issues as the other reviews here indicate. The place needs some TLC. The water does not get hot, the dehumidifier needs to be emptied a few times a day or it feels muggy inside, the paint is chipping (which was not good as we had an infant), the bedding needs updated, we had to search for the TV remotes/batteries, we had to do some spot cleaning upon arrival, the internet was inconsistent and often poor (I had to use my hot spot for work), and overall the place could use a long owner stay to get some organization and tidiness restored. We also could not get accurate information about the beach gear situation from the not so warm realtor hosts so we purchased and rented some items we ended up not needed. Here is the accurate information: The place has plenty of bath towels for the bathroom and beach, no need to bring any. The beach gear locker had 4 chairs (in so-so shape), an umbrella, 2 camping chairs, a few volley balls, a football, a volleyball net, and sand toys.

Beautiful View!

The Summerset was a great property to stay at on Marco! However, our unit was a bit run down and really needs some updates. Upon arrival, the A/C was off due to the humidity in the air. The dehumidifier was full so it shut off which affected the A/C as per the error message on the A/C panel. Once I emptied the dehumidifier and got the A/C going, it got better. The hot water is turned down way too low. Don't expect to take a hot shower. The pots and pans definitely were warn. I ended up buying a new frying pan so we could cook eggs in the morning. I left it there for the next guests. Despite some of these small inconveniences we had a great time and would visit Marco Island again.

Nice Getaway

Unit #705 at Somerset was very nice. Fully stocked kitchen plenty of towels and things for the beach. The pool was so nice and warm. Only two things they could improve on would be updated bedding and maybe a little softer beds. And the hot water heater needs to be turned up or something the showers never got very hot. We would definitely go back.
