The Happy Holiday House Bridport

As soon as you enter The Happy Holiday House you will instantly be filled with joy in anticipation of good times ahead. The home is light and spacious and full quirky splashes of colour that will constantly bring a smile to your face. So pack up the whole family and even some friends and get to this great place with lots of room for fun with close proximity to the white sandy beaches that Bridport is famous for. Fun times await you at The Happy Holiday House. From the moment you arrive you will be blown away with the size of the house and the expansive fully fenced front and back yard. There is ample space if you have some big toys you plan on bringing with you. Upon opening the front door you will be greeted with the with the hallway to the lower floor bedrooms, bathrooms, second living and laundry. Ascending the stairs you will arrive at the expansive main living area and have your breathe taken away by the ocean views. The main living area has a large modular lounge and a smaller sofa if you need a bit of seperate space. Sliding doors open up onto the large front deck which is partially under cover allowing you to use the space all year round. Lounge on one of two sun lounges, one of two outdoor bean bags or on the outdoor lounge - endless choice. The main living space also has a seperate WC with vanity. The open plan kitchen and dining space is a perfect space for your group to cook up a storm and enjoy a meal together. The walk-in pantry is perfect for you to stow away all your goods. If you are so inclined we suggest making wood fired pizza's in the pizza oven located in the backyard- sure to be a hit with the kids. Travelling downstairs again to the left is the second bedroom with queen-size bed. Further down the hall to the right and down a small set of steps is the bunk retreat. This is complete with a queen-size bed and two double bunks with singles on top. It also has a couch and a TV which makes it the perfect space for the kids. Further down the hall on the left is the third bedroom with a single bed and following from that is the second living area which also has a couch and TV. The master bedroom has it's own ensuite with seperate shower, WC and vanity. Past the second living is a small games area and further down is the laundry with a washing machine and dryer and a very large drinks fridge. The main bathroom is located off the laundry with seperate WC and vanity and a spa bath and beautiful Tasmanian made bath salts just perfect after a long day at the beach or exploring the beautiful North East Coast area. During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourself. Please make yourself at home! We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any questions during your stay. We would love it if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests. Please please let me know as soon as you can if there are any issues at all so I have a chance to take the appropriate action to ensure your stay is it should be - totally stress-free and relaxing!! I'm not always able to personally check the house before your arrival - I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore I have been let down in any way by the presentation of The Happy Holiday House. Whether lying on the beach or dodging the dreaded sand of a bunker, a visit to Bridport is a true Tasmanian seaside experience. Golfers come to challenge themselves on Barnbougle’s classic links course, Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm, both rated among Australia’s top five golf courses. Holidaymakers flock to the town in summer to enjoy scenic spots such as Mermaid’s Pool, a sheltered swimming cove at the town’s northern edge. It’s one of the highlights along the 11km circuit of the Bridport Walking Track. About 20km inland from Bridport is Bridestowe Lavender Estate, the world’s largest privately owned lavender farm, where curling rows of purple lavender make for one of Tasmania’s most photogenic scenes each summer. Arrive in town hungry. Bridport hosts the Tassie Scallop Fiesta each winter, and is the state’s spiritual home of scallops. Head to Bridport Café to try its award-winning curried scallop pie, or to Sugar N Spice Bakery for a mornay version. Enjoy your pie in the foreshore park across the road, adjoining the blue-and-white vertically striped lighthouse. Nearby vineyards include Pipers Brook, Delamere Vineyards and Sinapius Wines. Want a shorter, quicker round of golf? The 14-hole Bougle Run contains 12 elevated par-three holes (and two par-fours), making for a brisk 90min round with birdie’s-eye views. We do recommend you have a hire car as public transport is not that frequent or easy to access. Airport: Approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes drive to the airport.
