Great stay

This was my first time with a vrbo and it was great. Property was very clean and nicely appointed. Great location and having the boat dock was fantastic. We will definitely return.

RENTERS BEWARE!

A wonderful Condo and property, but RENTER BEWARE! The condo is very comfortable, and would have been a great stay, if it weren't for the horrible neighbor who LIVES next door. She gave us grief from the moment we pulled into the parking lot. Parking is limited, and very tight. When we arrived, she very angrily, came out and moved her vehicle taking up TWO spaces, then retreated without speaking a word. We thought "How Rude." Later that evening we were parking and she, AGAIN comes out of her home and proceeds to get nasty with us and gets her husband to come out. We showed them we had parking tags and were legal to park. Her husband agreed and that was that. A main reason we rented this property was so that we could keep our boat docked in the water during our stay. On Saturday after a day on the water, we moored up the boat and upon returning to the condo, my daughter noticed the lady next door standing in the breezeway with her dog, intentionally looking into the window of our condo. Finding this extremely odd, and a little freaked out, we closed the curtain when she walked off. This same evening while out to dinner we get interrupted by a phone call from the property management company asking questions regarding our boat etc. We had turned in all paperwork prior to arriving so any issue was on the rental agency at this point, yet we were being threatened with our boat getting towed etc. Upon returning to the property, we were sitting out back discussing this sudden issue with our boat, when the neighbor walks up telling us that our truck doors were left open. Long story short, we DID NOT leave the doors open, and after this lady peeking into our windows and upon everything else, we felt as if she purposely had accessed our vehicle to start a problem. A verbal confrontation ensued regarding all that had taken place at this point, and I outright asked her if she was behind the boat issue. She admittedly, and with malice exclaimed her husband is on the board and we would have to talk to him about that. I was so fed up at this point, and losing my patience with these people that I felt no other option but to contact the police and make a report. So that's exactly what I did. The police arrived, we straightened out the boat issue, and after all this NONSENSE, we were FINALLY able to enjoy ourselves. Management did NOTHING to rectify this horrible experience. It's unfortunate for the property owners, as the home is very nice.

Very Relaxing

It was a very relaxing stay - I loved getting up early and sitting on the back porch looking out on the harbor. I did a daily visit with a sand crab who lives there - and a family of ducks would visit daily as well (momma duck was teaching her babies to swim and look for food). the space was big enough that when I wanted to escape the teenagers I could. The location was great - close to activities, and restaurants. The back door lock was broken and the management company was there within minutes to fix it. Very responsive.

Rude Neighbor

The house itself was very CLEAN and NICE but the neighbor (which lives there FULL TIME and you're only separated from her by a wall) was extremely rude, inconsiderate and is the definition of a "Karen". She called our property manager to complain on us because we had friends over for dinner and we grilled/ate outside on the patio. She also THREW (and broke) our beach chairs on our patio after we had went inside from watching our kids play. She obviously had major problems with us sitting outside trying to enjoy our kids and vacation but had no problem letting her dog poop and pee all over the property. She also enjoyed taking up 3 parking spaces the entire week we were there. I feel bad for the owners of this rental because their neighbor will cause vacationers to no come back.
