I would first like to say that the property is beautiful. My family and I stayed in the Paris theme home. It is newly built, modern, and has updated appliances (gas stove, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave pull out drawer (loved this!), flat screen televisions, stainless steel pull down sprayer faucet in the kitchen sink). There were memory foam mattresses, I slept very well. The place was clean. Towels, toilet tissue, toiletries, cleaning supplies, food seasoning, pots, pans, and dishes were readily available. The four full size bunk beds upstairs were a plus. They even left us a welcoming gift. Again, a beautiful property.
Here is why I could not give five stars:
The leather reclining couch, though visibly aesthetic, was broken on the far left end, and because of this, the other end seat was not able to recline as it was made to do. This was unacceptable. You have paying patrons in this beautiful home, but yet present them with inoperable furniture in the living area of all spaces! Also the bottom of the coffee table was broken as well. The coffee table was an easy fix, it needed a screw or glue, but it should have been addressed before paying patrons came for a stay. The kitchen faucet we only could get lukewarm water from, though there was running hot water throughout the house. Pots were available but needed a more thorough cleaning.
Some suggestions:
Every room in the house has a television except for the 1st single room upstairs. The bathroom upstairs could use a longer width curtain so water does not run on the floor. During our stay it rained one day, and a doormat just inside the door could have prevented water tracking on the hardwood floor when entering the house.
Again my stay for the most part was very comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood was a little sketchy, but no one bothered us, and tucked down the street from the main road. The park, I wanted to experience, but it was more of a recreational area, than a playground for toddlers or elementary aged children. Would I come for another stay, absolutely, but I would hope these recommendations could be seriously considered.
