Beautiful Tiny Home Overlooking the Pond | 2 Miles from Lake Fork

This charming tiny home is an ideal homebase for your fishing vacation or the perfect spot for a romantic weekend getaway at Lake Fork. The home is one mile from the lake and three miles to the public boat ramp, making it easy to quickly get out on the water where you will have access to some of the best fishing in the world. However, you won't even need to travel to the lake to cast your line as you can fish in the shade right outside the home in a catch-and-release pond stocked with bass, crappie, and perch. Even our young visitors have caught dozens of fish here during their stay!

Room to park your truck with boat and electricity to charge your batteries right outside your door.There is also plenty of restaurants, bars, and shopping minutes away.

Inside the residence features a kitchen with full size appliances and dining table for four. The living room has a beautiful window overlooking the pond and a cozy TV viewing area. A private bedroom with a new queen bed provides a comfortable night's sleep, and the upstairs loft has 2 new single beds. Please note the loft is accessed by steep stairs and is quite short so adults can NOT stand up in this space and is not suitable for children under 7. Outside guests can enjoy morning coffee on the covered porch, then grill dinner in the evenings on the charcoal grill as the sun sets on another great day at the lake.

This quiet property is just 5-minutes south of Yantis and 10 minutes from Emory where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. And if fishing isn't quite your thing, there are several excellent antique shops in the towns surrounding the lake, where you'll find everything from old farm implements to thrifty, vintage clothes. For younger visitors, the county park with a kid-friendly fishing pier is just three miles away, and families always love visiting Alford Family Farms and Spinnery and their blueberry U-Pick. Mature guests will also find plenty to enjoy at one of the wineries located throughout the area.

Relaxing getaway

Livin' Large did not disappoint for our extended weekend. I have wanted to purchase a tiny lakeside home so we took the opportunity to try this one out. I am 6.1" and had ample head space on the main floor whereas our 6.'4" and 6.'7" sons would have struggled. The loft, be it ever so cute with very nice mattresses is best left to the littles. A comfortable queen bedroom with window AC unit allowed us to rest comfortably. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped with full size appliances. My hubby did all the cooking (yay me!) because I am not comfortable using gas ranges. A super nice couch, window AC unit, and Roku television allowed us to wind down inside after being entertained by turtles in the pond, roasting hotdogs and smore's in the provided firepit instead of grilling. FYI bring your own firewood and charcoal or run to Dollar General up the road. We didn't really utilize the catch and release pond but it sure was picturesque and mosquito free. Highly recommend this vacay property. Location! Location! Location! Even though this home isn't lake side, you are just a few miles from the new Sabine recreation area. The six lane boat launch is AMAZING! Directly across the highway is an equally spectacular new playground with splashpad, fishing piers, and picnicking facilities.

Great stay

Perfect location and home base for our short vacation at Lake Fork. The tiny house had all the amenities we needed and was very clean and cozy. The map and binder at the tiny house was a great reference and helped us get the most out of our stay. Communication with the property hosts was easy and we had great luck fishing at the lake outside our front door and really enjoyed the peaceful setting. We would definitely recommend a stay at the tiny home!
