Enjoy a relaxing retreat at this four-season lake-view home overlooking Barcovan Beach. Relish the fresh lake breeze with some fine wine from the various wineries which the Prince Edward County is famously known for.
The Space:
A spectacular view of Barcovan beach can be seen from our home. Behind the home is a large farmland where guests can watch magestic horses and ponies grazing. There is a road that separates the home from the lake. Please note that the lake and farm mentioned are private property and are not accessible by guests. However, guests are welcome to visit the many nearby beaches, including Pres’quille Park and North Beach Provincial Park.
MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom is perfect for families with children. There are two comfortable queen beds and an attached room with one double bed. This bedroom also has a private full-sized bathroom with a jacuzzi.
ADDITIONAL ROOMS
The second and third bedrooms have one queen bed each. The fourth bedroom has two queen beds. The home has a second full-sized bathroom located in the hallway between the main-floor bedrooms.
In the basement, there are two bedrooms. One bedroom has two double beds and the other bedroom has one queen bed.
THE KITCHEN
Guests are welcome to utilize the large kitchen with a stainless steel gas range and appliances, a large sink and an island, perfect for food prep. We provide our guests a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, refrigerator/freezer, and basic cooking items, including pots/pans and cooking utensils.
We provide our guests with a barbeque machine equipped with one filled propane tank and necessary BBQ utensils.
DINING ROOM
A large dining table is adjacent to the kitchen. Enjoy your delicious home-cooked meals with family and friends while enjoying a breathtaking view of the lake directly from the table.
LIVING ROOM
Enjoy an open area with plenty of comfortable seating with a large Roku TV to relax to your favourite TV shows and movies.
ENTERTAINMENT
All TVs are equipped with a Roku stick, and guests are welcome to use their preferred streaming services with their own accounts. All connected accounts will automatically be logged out after checkout.
The basement has a large pool table and several board games, including Clue, UNO, Codenames, Jenga, Monopoly, and a deck of cards.
PARKING
The property has a large parking lot where guests can park up to six regular-sized vehicles. The parking is located on the left side of the property.
LAUNDRY ROOM
Washer and Dryer provided for use.
Ironing board and iron provided.
NOTE
The location of our home is in a town which uses well water. Guests have reported that the water smells different to what they are accustomed to in the city; however, we have proper treatment and conditioning to filter the water and we have the city come to test the water to ensure it meets city standards. We provide this disclaimer so guests are aware. If you feel uncomfortable drinking from the treated well water, please bring your own water bottles. Water bottles can also be purchased from the nearby town's grocery stores.
Please note that we do not provide towels, and bathroom soap and shampoo are not provided due to hygienic and allergy-related reasons. Please bring these items with you for your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the home. Bask in the beautiful lake breeze and enjoy a relaxing getaway at our beautiful home.
The Neighborhood:
Please note that our home is located in a quiet family residential area. We require all guests to adhere to the quiet hours outside the home and avoid disrupting any neighbours during your stay.
Additionally, please note that the lakeside area across the street is private property. Please refrain from travelling on this area as it will upset the neighbours.
Other Things to Note:
Please be respectful of our property, home, and belongings. A lot of time and effort has gone into making this space comfortable and welcoming. If you accidentally damage something, please reach out to me, so I can make the space as beautiful as you arrived for the next guests. We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do!
