Beach access: The condo is located just a short walk away from the beautiful Okaloosa Island beach, allowing guests to soak up the sun, take a dip in the ocean, or enjoy a variety of water sports and activities.
BBQ grilling area: There is an outdoor BBQ grilling area available to guests, perfect for cooking up a delicious meal while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
Fully equipped kitchen: The condo features a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances and utensils needed to cook meals and snacks during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
This is a quiet neighborhood, full of locals and tucked in between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a 2 min walk following the boardwalk across the street. This property is attached to the Okaloosa Island Beach Access #1 Boardwalk that goes directly to the Gulf of Mexico's beautiful sugar-white warm sandy beach and the intercostal waterway near the Brooks Bridge. The Santa Rosa Sound is a minute or two on the opposite side, also connected to the boardwalk. Okaloosa Island is known for less crowded beaches and is about 10-15 min from Destin depending on traffic. This neighborhood is located near restaurants, bars, etc.

Getting Around:
Guests can get around Okaloosa Island by car, bike, or on foot. There are also several local shuttle services available for transportation to nearby attractions and restaurants. Additionally, the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier is within walking distance and offers stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Other Things to Note:
Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, fish, etc. The space is treated regularly for pests however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, termites, etc. During storms, we tend to find that insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. While we do take precautions to keep these critters out, it is sometimes out of our control as this is the environment in which we live. The property is located very close to the water — snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks and such, please make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay there are a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, swim at your own risk.
