Smith Lake covers approximately 21,200 acres and is situated in a beautiful canyon setting in the hills of North Alabama. Smith Lake was rated the #1 cleanest lake in the State of Alabama . . . and once you visit, you'll know why!
Smith Lake has over 500 + miles of shoreline and around 4,500 existing home sites situated on beautiful rock bluffs. The western side of the lake is the beautiful Bankhead National Forest consisting of 180,000-acres. The Sipsey Fork of the Black Warrior River, a wild and scenic river, flows from Bank Head National Forest to form Smith Lake. Depths on the lake can reach 300 feet and is know for it Stripe bass fishing.
This is a wonderful place to visit if you enjoy fishing, water sports, boating, swimming or just sitting back and enjoying the area with family and friends.

Clear Creek Recreational Area (part of Bankhead National Forest) 🦌
This beautiful area of Smith Lake is less than 15 minutes from the condo! You have direct access to the lake for boating, skiing, and fishing for largemouth bass, striped bass, and crappie. 🎣 🐟 It also offers camping, picnicking, swimming, boat launching, hiking, and biking. 🚴♀️ The campground has a .8-mile paved loop great for a short hike and kids biking. JASPER AL
If you decide to hit the town of nearby Jasper, you cannot go wrong with downtown Jasper! Try Pie Factory, Warehouse 319, Los Reyes, Crawfish Warehouse, and Johnny Brusco's. Don't forget to check out the breweries -- Twisted Barkley and Tallalah Brewing Co.
For a great breakfast, stop in at Five Loaves or grab coffee at Lavish Coffee Bar. While downtown, try Bernard's Store for Men or Harbin's.
Staying at Smith Lake gives you the option of close by Jasper for shopping and dining!
