Relaxing Rock Creek Cottage on Smith Lake

Come sit back and relax at Rock Creek retreat. It’s a beautiful lake view home on Smith Lake's Rock Creek. Enjoy a large Master bedroom w/king bed, two queen bedrooms on the main floor, and a bunk room in the basement with a twin over full bunk bed that sleeps a total of 8 comfortably. Plenty of bathroom space with 2 full baths. Den includes Smart widescreen HDTV. The main level kitchen/den open floor plan provides a great dining and entertainment area. Private boat dock for swimming and relaxation with chairs. Two paddleboards for exploration and fun. The House is complete with a screened-in porch and a large wrap-around deck with tables and plenty of chairs for outdoor living. HDTVs, a gas grill, and even a fire pit for those chillier nights. Enjoy unforgettable lake views from this retreat in Rock Creek.

House supplied with Coffee bar, linens, towels, fully equipped kitchen, and most necessary housekeeping items.
The dock is situated in a quiet area away from boat traffic. Great for swimming and plenty of bumpers for guests to tie the guest boat to dock.
TVs - Two (2) big TVs in the basement den and main level kitchen/den are both HDTV SmartTV with apps (YouTube, Youtube TV, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Pandora) for streaming using your login accounts. Guests can also bring their set-top box (Apple TV, ROKU, Amazon Fire, etc.) for streaming movies, shows, and other sports.

Sweet Home Alabama

The property was pefect for our stay. We are building a home in Arley and have stayed at two other locations on Smith Lake prior to this one. This will be the one we plan to stay at again. The rental is fantastic and the views are amazing.

Really nice house with a peaceful location

The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The rooms and beds were in very good shape. It was stocked with everything we needed. Nice living area, great master bedroom, very relaxing screened-in porch and deck. Beautiful lake view. Nice dock. No complaints at all.

Wonderful friends retreat!

Hosts were wonderful. Communicated well, even allowed us to check in early since we had people traveling from all over the south. Clean, well decorated lake house. Will highly recommend.

Guys trip to the lake!

Great cabin for our guys weekend trip! Lots of space to spread out, super clean, well appointed kitchen, and fantastic outdoor space and view of the lake! The house had great privacy and was in a very quiet neighborhood on my favorite part of the lake! We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Perfect!

This is a great get-a-way spot. The house was gorgeous and the perfect amount of room for family. The extra paddle boards and water mat were a big hit with the kids. We enjoyed fishing, grilling, game night, and rented a boat nearby for a day! We will definitely be back!! One note, there were some ants on the dock so bring some ant spray.

Nice property and beautiful view of the Lake. The only drawback is that the last mile of road to get to the property can be difficult to navigate.

Perfect for family with children

Great location on Smith Lake with dock for boats, swimming, paddle boarding. The house was clean & well-stocked with clear instructions. The owner was available as needed. Would recommend.

Cozy place with a view

This place gives you the cabin feel but with modern amenities. Plenty of activities provided from puzzles to paddle boards. All main areas of the cabin are on one level which is nice for older guests. We brought my grandmother and she had no trouble getting around by herself.

Clean Place!

It’s a very clean, nice place! Comes equip with just about anything you might forget at home. The boat dock and amenities are great! Also, has enough space in the driveway to park a boat. However, only leaves room for a few more vehicles to park. We have a 20ft. Pontoon in which, took of a lot of the parking area. If you are bringing a boat…I suggest using the sway bridge public concrete ramp. No place to leave a trailer over night. Overall, Great place!!

Relaxing Lake Vacation

Our vacation started off a little rocky when we arrived and the A/C was out. That’s a big deal in Alabama in July. The owner was very responsive and sent a repair man right away. The A/C couldn’t be repaired so a new one was installed the next day. The owner was very helpful and offered us a refund for the sleepless night we had to huddle around fans in the living room. After the A/C was fixed, we had so much fun! The lake was beautiful and relaxing. We grilled and ate in every night. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with cooking supplies. The bedrooms were comfortable. We would definitely return.

Rock Creek Cottage

The house was very nice....Drive way bad shape....Dock is not set up for a good boat.....Mine got all scratched up due to insufficient dock fenders....I was fishing and I fell through the dock when a board broke....Cut and scraped up my leg...Glad it didn't happen to one of my Children...I will not return
