This delightful home, is an appealing location for family and friends to gather, or to enjoy as a personal getaway. The main-floor rooms, encourage conversation just as the spacious bedrooms with sitting areas, provide a relaxed environment.
The Cottage is located within a few blocks of Terry's downtown, where guests may enjoy exploring the Prairie County Museum and the Cameron Gallery. Take in the work from turn of the century photographer Evelyn Cameron.
Across the street the American Legion exhibits additional photos of history and guests may also enjoy food & beverage. Each of the downtown shops offer Montana art and are packed with with unique treasures.
Around the corner the icon Roy Rogers, exhibits dinner entrees that delight locals and guests.
Stroll two blocks east of The Cottage to participate in venues at Terry's City Park. Enjoy the beautiful (& warm) summertime outdoor pool, made for toddlers, while including big-kid swimming & diving.
Let your ventures continue with exploring Calypso Trail, Scenic View, and rock & agate hunting from the banks of the Yellowstone & Powder Rivers.
With abundant public lands, fishing & hunting are also enjoyed in Prairie County. The Cottage provides an extra freezer just in case.

Great get away

We loved exploring the badlands and the local communities. Renee helped connect us to the museum and the Cameron Center. We will definitely be back!

My family homesteaded in Prairie County in 1915. Time flies and my grandchildren are now 6th generation eastern Montanans. Many in this area have those bragging rights. With a grandfather who's profession was that of a trapper and a grandfather, father, and now son that were (& are) water well drillers in eastern Montana; carrying on a legacy.
I left Montana for 30 years, raising my family in Idaho, with regular visits back home. Returning to the area ten years ago, forever appreciating the honest character, strength, and grit of "eastern" Montana people.
I personally do not believe there is any scenic area, more beautiful than our badlands and their ever changing expressions. More than anything, my father loved flying over these lands in his Cessna. Today, my favorite "wide view" is from Scenic View, north of Terry. Though a venture to get there, I believe, it is well worth the drive.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Why do I have a heart for this property? That would be because of the family that lived in the home when I was a kid growing up in Terry. I knew the Revell's as a very kind family. They owned the Locker Plant and were working & active members of Terry. Mrs. Revell often had a hand in putting good things in place for others. I enjoyed working with the family as time for a change of ownership came. There is a warmth in the home that I believe comes from this family & probably the family that built the home; the Pehls. I hope that each guest can enjoy their time in this home & this community. I look forward to the continued work renovating this home, that I and my (actively involved) family, now affectionally call The Cottage.
