Disappointing Stay Due to Ant Infestation and Maintenance Issues
We recently stayed at this property and while the neighborhood was great, I must say that I was disappointed with the overall experience. While the house itself was decent, there were several issues that impacted our stay.
Firstly, the towels provided were not clean and had to be washed before use. Additionally, the dryer was broken which made it difficult to keep towels and clothes clean during our stay. The most significant issue, however, was the ant infestation that we experienced throughout the property. Not only were there ants in the bed and bathroom, but they also got into our medication and personal hygiene items which was quite concerning.
Furthermore, the screen door was broken which posed a safety concern and we had to use a towel to cover the back door window for privacy. As the first task as arriving at the home we also had to take out a lot of trash left over from the previous stay, but the trash company did not even pick it up on the date that the owner had stated, which was odd.
Despite these issues, we reached out to the owner regarding the ant problem, but unfortunately, they did not come to see about it. While the property has a lot of potential, the ant problem was a major issue for us and we could not fully enjoy our stay.
In conclusion, while the property had a great location, the issues we encountered were disappointing. We hope that the owner takes steps to address these concerns in the future to ensure a better experience for future guests.
