Welcome to Coquina House! Walk or bike to the gentle waters of Vanderbilt Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. It is a beautiful stretch of white sand and crystal clear water perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and shelling. Wiggins Pass State Park is also nearby, offering great snorkeling and hiking. There are many delicious dining options and cute boutiques to explore. The community is welcoming and laid-back, making it a great destination for a stress-free vacation.

The Space:
Coquina House is a charming beach retreat located in the quaint community of Vanderbilt Beach, known for its three miles of pristine white sand. Our simple home is flooded with natural light and boasts a majestic mango tree that produces aromatic fruit from June to October.

Renovated and stocked with modern amenities and everyday conveniences, this clean and uncluttered space is perfect for couples and small families.
Each side of Coquina House - named North and South - offers a private entrance, plenty of parking, a shaded backyard with a grilling area and picnic table, bicycles, and beach supplies.

Inside, you'll find a spacious open concept layout with a 55-inch 4K HD flat-screen television, DVD/Blu-Ray player, board games, and comfortable seating for the whole family. The fully equipped kitchen has a new fridge, stove, and other appliances, as well as dinnerware and wine glasses. The laundry room comes with a full-size washer and dryer, and all linens are included. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds and ample closet space. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub with plenty of storage for toiletries.

Located just a 12-minute walk from one of the country's most popular beach access points, Coquina House is in a prime location near iconic buildings, award-winning ocean view restaurants, world-class shopping, and year-round entertainment for all tastes and ages. In our beach, it's not uncommon to spot dolphins playing at dusk or attend a toes-in-the-sand wedding celebration.

Guest Access:
Our property boasts a range of convenient amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The private entrance, driveway parking, and garage storage provide ample space for your belongings. The shaded backyard offers a peaceful outdoor retreat, complete with a grilling area for al fresco meals. Inside, the laundry room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer, making it easy to keep your clothes clean and fresh during your stay. These features, along with our other thoughtful amenities, will help you feel right at home.

The Neighborhood:
From Coquina House, you can easily walk or bike to a variety of local attractions and amenities, including:

-Vanderbilt Beach, with its sugary-white sands
-Pelican Bay community park, featuring tennis, racquetball, bocce, basketball, a playground, softball and soccer fields
-Grocery stores like Whole Foods and Publix, as well as specialty stores like Trader Joe's
-Two movie theaters with a total of 20 screens
-Beachside dining and spas at the Ritz-Carlton, The Turtle Club at Vanderbilt Beach Resort, and more
-The Mercato Shops, with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and stores catering to all tastes, some of which offer live music and are pet-friendly
-Delicious Raw, a popular spot for raw juice, smoothies, and bowls

Getting Around:
Coquina House is conveniently located off scenic I-75 "Alligator Alley", at exit 111/Immokalee Road. With a convenient location and ample parking in our driveway, most families find it easy to rent or bring their own car. However, you can also take advantage of the Hop on-Hop off Naples Trolley Tour, which stops at the Vanderbilt Beach access near the house, or use ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft, or hire a reputable taxi company to get around the area. The house is within easy walking or biking distance of many local attractions, making it easy to explore the area without the need for a car.

Other Things to Note:
Coquina House is a pet-friendly duplex, comprised of the North House and South House. Both sides offer privacy and are completely independent of each other, while sharing a single common wall. We are pleased to welcome well-behaved dogs weighing less than 40 lbs. for stays of 7 nights or more, subject to a non-refundable pet fee of $150. Please note that certain breeds may be restricted by our insurance company and cannot be accommodated. These include full or mixed breeds of pit bulls, rottweilers, and similar breeds. To ensure that your dog is allowed, please contact us prior to making a reservation. While we understand that dogs of these "risky" breeds can be loving and wonderful, we are unable to risk losing our insurance coverage. We do not allow any other types of animals.

Our guests are welcome to use the two adult bicycles provided in each house. If you need additional bikes, there are two rental stores less than a mile away, both of which offer delivery to the house.

Located just steps from the beach and surrounded by a variety of local attractions, there's never a dull moment at Coquina House. If you prefer a quieter night in, the patio and large yard provide plenty of space for grilling and outdoor meals, and the house is equipped with a growing collection of games for the whole family, high-speed internet, a DVD/Blu-Ray player, and a 55-inch 4K HD flat-screen television for movie nights.

If you're traveling with little ones, this is a great family spot! We have a pack and play ready for you, some games, toys, and books, and also have kid friendly dinnerware. If you're up for a family adventure grab our bike trailer and head out for a ride!

Interaction with Guests:
As much or as little as you want! Stay SW Florida is a local family run company with staff and a handyman all local if you ever need us. We are happy to FaceTime for simple problem resolutions as well.
