Summary:
Welcome to East Downtown, also known as EaDo! Our place is close to the George R. Brown Convention Center, Discovery Green, Toyota Center, Minute Maid Park, BBVA Compass Stadium, public transport, the airports, and family-friendly activities. If you're up for a game of pool or if you're in town for a business trip, then this is the place to be. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The Space:
This 3 story / 2100 sq. ft. townhome is located in East Downtown, Houston. Our small community has a cul de sac around the corner and our townhome faces downtown without any properties obstructing your view.


----*AGE REQUIREMENT / ID VERIFICATION*----
**We have a minimum age requirement to book our home (25 years old)**
**We require all of our guest's to upload a valid government photo ID (i.e. driver's license) to verify his / her identity and age after a booking is confirmed. Failure to do so in a timely manner will result in a cancelled reservation.


----*UPDATES*----
We are working on updating / renovating the home in between our guests stay so we'll keep our listing updated with each new completed phase of renovation. We hope you enjoy the new custom paint throughout the home, new furniture, and overall design!


----*NO PARTIES*----
This home is NOT designed for any type of parties / pre-parties / post-parties / etc. If you're looking for a place for large gatherings, please do not consider booking our home. We have a *VERY* strict policy against any type of parties or gatherings that permit loud noises. Absolutely NO SPEAKERS or personal music devices are allowed at the home that will create any type of disturbance to our neighbors.


----*ROOMS / BEDS / BATHROOMS*----
We have 5 official beds (3 queen beds and 2 full size beds) and 2 futons. Guests have said that the townhome was more spacious than they thought, so feel free to make yourself at home during your stay!

1st floor guest bedroom:
1 queen bed, 1 futon (pulls out to twin bed)
En Suite full size bathroom with tub / shower combo

2nd floor:
Half Bath
Living room, Kitchen, Dining, Pool Table

3rd floor guest bedroom:
2 full size beds, 1 futon (pulls out to twin bed)

3rd floor primary bedroom:
2 queen beds
En Suite bathroom with large garden tub / shower combo & private toilet area

Guest Access:
We have an attached garage but its not accessible for guests; it can only be used to access the trash bins or for emergency exits only. Our renovation items are currently located in the garage so don't mind our mess! The wide streets around the townhome allows for ample parking spaces. You will receive a copy of our house manual via email prior to your stay.

We have the Schlage Connect Touchscreen Deadbolt at the front door. Each guest will be given a personalized code to enter / exit the home during their stay. We also have the Ring Pro Video Doorbell and Arlo security cameras around the outside of our home & inside the garage for your added safety. NOTE: There are NO CAMERAS inside of the home.

The Neighborhood:
The EaDo area used to be Houston's old warehouse district, so you'll see some warehouse businesses still in use; hence the wide streets around the area! There is no zoning in Houston, so you'll also see a variety of commercial and residential places. The area has grown quite a bit over the years, but there are still small pockets of very old homes that have been here for generations.

This area is well known for its artistry. You'll see a variety of artists who have painted murals throughout the area. Many people come to EaDo to take pictures, so join in on the fun! The murals change periodically so make sure to snag a pic before you leave.

There is a nearby train so there are times when you'll hear it pass by in the middle of the night. It's not very loud and you don't hear it every night - just every now and then. If you're a light sleeper, please take this into consideration.

Getting Around:
Easy access to I-45, I-69 (HWY 59), I-10, I-610, HWY 288, Hardy Toll Road & Allen Parkway.

METRO Light Rail distance to:
- TDECU Stadium (home of the UH Cougers)
- BBVA Compass Stadium
- Texas Medical Center
- Hermann Park + Golf Course
- Memorial Park
- The Houston Zoo
- The Museum of Fine Arts (MFAH)
- & to many more places!

Green Link is a free bus around the downtown area. There are two routes: Green (Monday-Friday) and Orange (Thursday-Sunday).

Uber rides are readily available at your convenience.

Other Things to Note:
We have a minimum age requirement to rent our home. If you're booking our property, you are acknowledging that you & your guests are at least 25 years of age with good intentions to take care of our home during your stay.

After a confirmed booking, we will require you to upload a valid government photo ID to verify your identity (name and age). You will be able to upload you ID on the message page after your reservation is confirmed. Unfortunately, the upload feature is not available on airbnb until a reservation is confirmed.

If you're new to AIRBNB, please make sure to have a complete AIRBNB profile; we, as hosts, would like to know a little bit about our future guests! Have a profile picture with some information about yourself. AIRBNB is based on transparency and trust so if you intend to hide information about yourself, then AIRBNB is not for you. As hosts, we try to give as much information about ourselves and our home / neighborhood so that you can make the best decision when booking your future stay in Houston.


Also, please note that the person booking our home will be responsible for ALL of your guests actions, so please make sure to forward our house manual to all of your guests.

Interaction with Guests:
Our check in & check out times are flexible at times depending on our guest calendar. We'll let you know if we can accommodate any early check ins or late check outs!
